That's kind of what I was thinking. Maybe with some hollow space for keys, money etc. Just not sure I have the sewing/creative skills.

Some tapering black tubes of material, handsewn and stuffed with newspaper or whatever, in order to get the shape, then attached to a wide black belt of the same material?

Or some cheap black leggings from Primark, sew up the ends and cut them apart? X however many tentacles squid have?

edit....8 tentacles (plus two extra long ones, which you could probably omit!)

Oh the leggings aren't a bad idea actually. :rotfl: I'd need 3 pairs because Ursula only has 6 tentacles and I'd like to be able to get through doors :rotfl:

Anyway do I try to make something, with my rubbish sewing skills and no access to a sewing machine, or do I buy this?

ETA: I know this is the Ursula reboot as a skinny, which I'm not keen on, but pretty skirts.

That's a fabuolous dress and I love the overlaid purples, though I admit to some bias as I have a weakness for anything full length.

pyxis you have hit the nail on the head!! That id exactly what I needed.. someone to make me a cuppa and reassure me that everything's going to be ok! It sucks spending too much time alone.. night time is when I ruminate about all my problems, fears and lonliness. I've always been an insomniac but it's never as bad as it is these days. The ptsd fear of death and hypervigilance about my health is def a contributing factor.

I have piled on so much weight , that's getting me down too.. I feel so ashamed of how I look these days/ and I cant get a hold of the overeating. I know that that I'm bingeing because of loneliness, anxiety.and depression. Anyway, I'm going to take a zolpidem sleeper in a min and knock myself out.. I don't have a regular script.. just a few for emergencies.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

    The dress is gorgeous code.

Could you cut some frothy net black long triangles out, print some glittery white circles on the underside and loop them up like this??

Attach them to a sash and tie it around your waist? Or cut them out of various layers of net and knot them together.

I can visualise it but couldn't actually do it myself.

Or overlay the beautiful dress with a cut out of the legs from a shower curtain like this one
