Pyxis in Durham cathedral they are building a model in lego of the cathedral to show how the fundraising is goIng. You buy a brick which is represented by a lego block which is then added.

Even further from here which is a shame as it looks worth a visit.

Coventry is ace! It's changed a lot in the last few years and is now definitely worth a visit. The Herbert has some great free exhibitions, and there's loads of things happening (like motofest last weekend....where I got so hideously sunburned!) It's got some lovely independent retailers (like those in Fargo village) and the public areas have been really nicely redeveloped.

And we're back. Gitdog is now retrieved and annoyingly super-glued to my leg which is a bit rich considering he happily trotted off into kennels without a backwards glance.
Never did get my card sorted - it was unblocked three times (allegedly) but I still couldn't get it to work. On a positive note it means I now in theory have some money left ready for next time. :)

And back to work tomorrow - bah humbug. I've quite got used to this swanning around doing very little malarkey. Will have a proper catch up with what you've all been doing later.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Haven't caught up on the thread yet.

Massive crotch-biting penguin here re intimate assault. The victim letter at the end is particularly powerful, but please time your reading of it as it is upsetting/triggering:

The motofest looks right up my street, given that I have a classic car (non working :p ) and motorsport is my hobby.

My last visit to Coventry, which would have been in the 1990s, was for the AGM of a classic car club that I've belonged to on and off since I was about 22, the company that made them was based there (like lots of British manufacturers) and it was held in the social club for the factory of the company that took them over.
