I suppose I'd have to see the game to fully understand all these implications.

There's a very tuneful blackbird outside the window. As well as the usual warbles, he's got a repeating one:

    Doo doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo!

    In two-tone!

Edit for any musical buffs, it's
    C A C A C A C

    ♩♪ ♩♪ ♩♪ ♩

(Couldn't get any better notation than that!)

I feel rubbish. 12 year old GP prescribed me new painkillers and they make me feel sick :(

Pyxis- last night I used 3 bits of tape to cover my mouth and no snores. Well, my app recorded some snores at thr start of the night, but I was awake. It seems some of my snores are actually Mr CP snoring! Heh

Well when you want to play Tomb Raider with individual hair strands being rendered cos you're that much of a loon, you do need to kick it up a notch in the power department! :D

Last 3D game I played was Skyrim, but embarassingly I seem to get motion sickness on that so stopped again. I could run it on maximum everything, though the computer is five years old and isn't a "gaming" computer as such, being disappointingly free of internal illumination or radiators :o. (self built with i7-2600K, not overclocked, and a GTX760 - the previous graphics card died which is why I have a not massively out of date one). It might not fare so well at maximum resolution now I have a "4k" screen for the main display rather than 1680x1050 though.

Lambyr they sound like exciting plans and I for one would buy your novel. I love fantasy stories.

Does anyone have any good book suggestions for hospital trips? I like fantasy, crime, romance etc. Mainly I just want something fiction.

Have you tried the Robin Hobb books? I like the dragon ones and the tawny man series.

Cripes, it wasn't that long ago when it was deemed stranger than strange for a man to wear an earring, (unless he was a pirate or a gypsy! :rotfl:)

Just a little question and no goggling it.

Why did pirates wear gold earrings?

I will give the answer later :rotfl:

Pyxis-Swain is ginger and i'm so envious of his hair! its beautiful virgin hair thats never been bleached and long and luscious!

whiteing-i understand the feeling about feeling as though you're not achicivining anything. my days are either work or seeing swain or a combination of both. i feel like i do little else. dont get me wrong im gratful to have a job and to have Swain but sometimes i ache for something more, i just dont know what it is i want and have zero enthusiasm to try anything new

Lambyr, its so rude and annoying for someone to steal food! Like dont get me wrong, if one of my housemates (bar tw@atmate) was struggling i'd happily give them food if i could spare it, but ive had one of them steal my cheese recently! Seems to have stopped since i left a not in one of the empty packets saying "stop stealing my f'ing cheese!" but its still not on.

Driving-i have a provisonal, technically i feel i shouldn't have it as i had depression when i first appplied but my mum told me not to mention it. Since then i have only ever used it for ID. When it expired i had no choice but to renew (and not tell them about the bipolar) as i desperately needed ID so i could register at the new doctors and get my medication. Now my concessionary pass has expired as i have no psychitrist to sign the form i need to wrote to DVLA informing them and hope they revoke it (and dont fine me £1000). i dont feel like i would be safe to drive at all. and im currently paying out £30 a week for travel which tbh i am seriously struggling with. my pass gave me freedom, and i feel lost without it. :(

WaS i'm sure they will be thrilled to hear from you, clearly they did a lot for you and you appriciate it all, and i'm sure they'd love to hear back from you. Regarding forgiveness....i'm not the forgiving type. My biggest fmaily issue is my biological dad who i cut out of my life nearly 10 years ago. I cannot forgive him for being a bad dad and not being there for me when i needed him. I cannot forgive him for being cruel to my mum and first step mum. I cannot forgive him for refusing to accept he's done wrong and hurt me. If he could at least admit he wasn't there for me, hurt me and wasn;t a good dad, then maybe we could move forward. But he will never change. And i just have to accept that.

code glad you finally got an appointment with teh GP! which reminds me i need to book a double one. still have low mood and its been a few weeks now. just dreading it as ive only seen her once and i find it very hard to trust new people.

pyxis- i dont know how much of my MH problems are nurture vs nature. From what i know of fmaily history my great aunt (my mums aunt) has MH problems and she told me my great grandma (her mum) has MH issues, or the black dog as she called it. I was bullied very badly in school whihc is what foirst triggered the depression.self harm/suicidal feelings, the hypermiac symptoms did exist back then too, but nobody put it all together till i was diagnosed at 24.

Swain had his first day back at work yesterday, it got off to a bad start. He had a sandwich in the fridge so woke up a bit later (no time for food) and found his mum has thrown it away! Cue bad mood, and not eating all day (the canteen has closed as he was on a late shift). I tried to make it better by making him a sandwich at work last night so he had something for today :) He seemed in a better mood today. He just needs to get bthrough 20 more shifts then hopefullyt he will get his contract extened and get moved to the other site that has better jobs and more people he knows.

I'm...i dont know. Bleh maybe. Still been taking my AD, still feel crap. Money is the main issue (and the whole PIP crap), i have a tenner left till tuesday :o I always seem to be strugggling the week my rent is due. which scares me even more cos if i lose my DLA and tax credits will not bhe able to afford to live. :( thats sounds extreme but i can manage now let alone if i lose that much a week/month. work hours have been minimum since xmas though thankfully seem to be going up a bit, its just difficult for them to give me more hours when i'm limited to doing 6 per shift (any more than that and my MH goes downhill rapidly), on top of that i'm scared shitless about universal credit and the fact if you work under 35 a week you have to seek more work. I couldnt even do 35 a week without having another breakdown.

Is it a joke or a real factoid question? :D

If it's real, I'd hazard a guess at keeping away the evil eye, or somesuch?

When you go to the GP, do tell, them about this. They may be able to do something, or get you a psychiatrist. Worth asking.

It's true that there are environmental factors, but those factors trigger changes in brain chemistry/neurology that lead to the MH issues. It does all boil down to physical changes.

Even personality differences probably stem from these tiny differences, too!

We're all just a chemical soup with some sparks thrown in!

Cream of vegetable or mulligatawny, anyone? :rotfl:
