Thanks to skim reading I thought pyxis was curing parpy bottoms with eating milk tray and putting microporous tape across the hole. I got a bit flummoxed when 'you have to want it closed though' .

I won't put anything up my rear end medicine-wise ever since the anti-d suppositories gently 'effervesced'. Fizzing bums are no fun and do not cure depression.

I saw on Law & Order once that (some) alcoholics put the bottle up their backsides as the alcohol gets absorbed more quickly. I like an odd drink but not that odd.

code, can't remember the exat words you used in brackets but it made me laugh.

Forgotten everything else I was going to say.

Dentist today. Apparently I am grinding my teeth which isn't doing them any good. Dentist suggested it was in my sleep, but I think I do it without realising it when I'm frazzled. Which is pretty much all the time I'm at work. Need to work out now how to stop myself from doing it that doesn't involve starting smoking again.

ww - apparently there is a craze amongst teenagers to soak a tampon in vodka and either put it into your hooha if you're a girl or up your bum if you're not as the alcohol gets absorbed more quickly that way and they can get drunk at school without teachers noticing. Do not try this at home kids.

Elsien, I have a habit of clenching my jaw when I'm in pain which means I get a bit of TMJ pain too. One of the tips I read, is to stick your tongue between your teeth to make sure you can't bite down or grind. Obviously that's a bit harder if you don't know when you're doing it though.

Did he not suggest making a mouth guard to wear at night? My friend grinds her teeth really badly at night, and she's wearing them down quite a lot. The dentist made her a mouth guard, but I don't think she wears it very often as she's says it's a passion killer! :rotfl:

Code, I always use my mobile when I'm on the toilet! I check my emails :rotfl:

It was mentioned. It doesn't appeal although I may come around to the idea in due course. I think I'm a daytime grinder as well, just hadn't really noticed before.

    Evening all!

What a lovely idea, SDW. I really hope your dear husband feels better soon.

I am right there with you code, Tramadol and codeine are a nightmare. Throw in anti-acids and it is never a dull day.

My appointment went fine, nothing to talk about really. I did bring Minion Bob to show him along with Sir P, it's ok he is used to me and gets that hanging onto cuddly things help me.

My work on my sleep had a breakthrough when I had a nap when I got back! I have been working with my professor on lucid dreaming, the idea is that I learn to divert my dreams if they enter nightmare territory. I often think I am dreaming already but forget what I am supposed to do in the dream. Today I remembered that he said if you think you are dreaming write on a piece of paper, you won't be able to do it.

Well I tried to write with the most amazing results. I couldn't even write a single letter correctly. I was putting extra loops on B's my A's were turning into worm shapes and my N's were turning into two V's next to each other, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't form any letters at all. This is a huge breakthrough because if I can keep it up it will become a natural part of my dreaming and I will be able to tell if I am awake or not. The next step is learning to change the dream into something more pleasant. The ultimate aim is to stop me waking up screaming and crying in the night which happens a lot, I am getting there!

If you have lucid dreams, try writing! It is fascinating because it is completely impossible!

I've woken up before with my jaw clamped together firmly, so I wouldn't be surprised if I do it too.

Busy looking at tattoo designs. I've decided I want one for my medical condition, but I like bits from various images.
