So I'm once again back into a pickle and this feels like all my own fault. I'll spare the details.... but it just shows how much making 'clumsy' or ill-thought out decisions can subsequently affect your moods going forward. My mood is seemingly 100% linked to my life itself? If you get me.

Some people can be happy, when life is going wrong. Some people can be miserable when life is wonderful. It seems for me, my mood is entirely dependent on things going on in the background. Not in as bad a place as I was, but not good again and 100% down to me.

Pyxis has asked me to post to say she's having a technical problem with logging in to MSE. At the moment she *may* be shown as logged in, but can't actually see the site or read anything that's going on. So please, if you post and are surprised that she hasn't responded, it's because she can't see the post!

(Here's hoping MSE towers will sort the situation out very soon.)

Awww Stoke! Do remember to be kind to yourself and forgive yourself your mistakes. We all screw up sometimes. xxx

How did your medical go, deka?

(And apologies that the last post came out in red, in tiny writing!)

I just got back in! :)

Have been sitting on the step outside with a bag of crisps since very early yesterday morning!
Tried peering through the windows, but the curtains were drawn! :rotfl::rotfl:

Some technical glitch, but it's all sorted now! :T

Haven't posted for a while but really nothing much changes. Have had several health issues to add to my problems. I still can see no meaningful future and I'm just marking time. Sleep is fitful at best.
It will soon be my birthday and I'll be older than my husband which is hard d to get my had round.

This week I have an appointment with the solicitor to try and sort out financial paperwork.

Still waiting to hear from mental health services.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

    Big hugs, Torry. (((((((((((((Torry))))))))))))))

Of course nothing much changes.........you've had a massive shock and it will take ages.:(:( :A

Very sorry to hear about your health issues.
Do remember that grief affects you physically as well as mentally and emotionally, so it's not surprising if things start going wrong in your body.

Are you eating? And drinking fluids?

It's rough about your birthday. This, I suppose, is one of the 'firsts' you will keep meeting during the first 12 months after a bereavement.

They are horrible, the firsts are. :(

Do you have a close friend who could just give you a quiet but pamperful birthday this time?

Actually its not the first birthday I've had although I am pretty blank about last year coming soon after I lost him.

Not a great surprise that I've lost weight but the consultant I saw recently told me that was good and to keep it up!

I'm so sorry, Torry, :(, I've just realised that the anniversary of Loon's death was in January.

    Very sorry. :(:(:(:( :(
