Thank you for always being there for me

I wish you all a calm and peaceful day tomorrow no matter what your beliefs. I hope we can all take a few minutes to take a little time for ourselves doing something we enjoy, even if that is disappearing under the duvet for 15 minutes. You will all be in my thoughts and please do post here or reach out to a crisis line if things feel too much.

WaS, you are one of the nicest people in this world
I am back at work today and I have the music blaring as I'm the only one in the office. Bit of old school KISS and Def Leppard

Well, not the best Christmas here, but not the worst either.
We went to my lovely sister on Xmas Eve and had supper there. Then Mr JM had some sort of a bug on the day itself, and sat in a chair looking extremely white and hardly moving (to the extent I checked he was still with us, once or twice!) He's still recovering, but much better. (He did perk up after our wonderful Christmas lunch.)
Then I got the same bug yesterday so spent the day in bed. Mine was quite mild - just generally feeling ill, and a headache which responded well to meds. I'm back to 80%+ today, but have managed to tweak my back (no idea how!) so am moving like a 90 year old. Doubtless this is part of the same bug as I really haven't done anything to stress the back - it just twinged as I leant forward to pick something off the table! I'm sure it will be fine tomorrow.
Season's greetings to you all xxxx

That sounded like a good way to spend a work morning HBS!
Oh no, JM! Hope you both feel better soon!
I am fighting PTSD right now, today for the first time in years I wondered if it might be time to return to therapy so that I can talk through it. I shall see if it improves.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I like leaving in Wales simply because it is far more peaceful. I still panic at the weekends when I hear people in the pub at the end of the road but week days are very quiet with hardly anyone walking past.
WaSp is in a lot of pain every day. Although blood does get past the clot it still hurts his leg plus he keeps getting cellulitis. This is part of my PTSD problems because the last time I was around someone in so much pain it was my parents, I keep getting flashbacks to how life was back then and how terrified I was.
I have the second PIP interview on Wednesday which I am dreading, I found it very triggering last time plus they asked me to do various movements which caused me a lot of pain for days afterwards. On top of this an 11 year friendship is pretty much ruined, not my fault but it is very hard to let it go. I feel very lonely.
