WaS!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!
I know you're worrying about PIP and stuff but i hope you have at least managed to enjoy some of today. You will be fine (and if i can track it down i have a list of questions they are likely to ask so if i find it i'll pm you), i assume you'll have WaSp with you? There will be a lot of questions but its just mainly things that you have already told them about (and that they will have read beforehand), you just need to explain the things you struggle with and how it affects you day to day. I'm sure it will will all go fine. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone!
The PIP interviewing was grueling to say the least. It took 90 minutes and I am completely shattered now. I think it went ok, she noticed things like spiderwebs in rooms and said you have problems cleaning, don't you? I was a bit shocked that they look for things like that! There were so many questions and she kept referring back to what I had said previously and I did get confused at times. She also did some physical tests for my arthritis and tachycardia. She was a general nurse and said she found mental health fascinating and kept asking what the voices were saying and asked what my inner world looked like. It just seemed to go on forever but at least it's over. She thought it would take about 6 weeks before I am contacted again.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Whilst im not having a panic attack I thought I would have a few updates, got a dreaded health assessment letter through this morning for ESA which I assume is because its been 10 months since my last assessment and by time the 30 day deadline to return form is in they will have the assessment at exactly 12 months, still I was shocked to get the letter 2 and a half months before my next assessment was due unless its because of that repayment issue I had a month or two ago.
Also had severe insomnia on and off the past week or two, was awake 19 hours yesterday but took me a hour to fall asleep, taken as much as 3 hours to fall asleep a few times and a hour on average, I think what is happening on the tablets is that if I start something before bed such even reading a book it just stimulates the brain, if I do nothing before bed I sleep really quickly and without insomnia.0 -
OMG I can't believe it! What happened to this week? I feel as if I've visited this thread ....OK maybe not daily, but every other day. And yet I've missed sooo much, including WaS's birthday! Many apologies, WaS - your birthday does go on for a week, doesn't it?

Hey everyone!
Had a week off for a holiday, had this week off sick and now I'm skint!
PENGUIN about food Eating is very disordered, but as I'm maintaining a weight (overweight, not obese), the doctor won't refer me onwards to the Eating Disorders Team
I've spent my sick leave pottering around the house doing little DIY jobs.
I've finished a chair, done some stuff around the bathroom and I'm trying to get some mirrors ready to frame.
Managed to break one
I've got to sort the frame on one and I've got to replace the mirror on an old dressing table mirror I found in the street as it's corroding.
Have got to travel to another city, over 12 miles away to get the (non-standard) mirror copied.
With a little shelf underneath, it would look really nice.
Happy birthday WaS and i hope the year ahead is a good one for you. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Little upset at the moment, getting emails sent to me to donate to charity as its the time of year to think about others except all the charities doing so just make me upset as they unintentionally point out how little support there is unless you fit a certain group i.e children, physical disabilties, cancer/health issues, ex army, elderly or severe mental health problems and of course regional based charities which already have more money than people in other parts of the country.
I haven't had proper support my entire life, I had some a few years ago which I greatly appreciated but was taken away when I moved due to lack of funding so I can understand why people feel lonely at this time of year.0 -
I once signed up to about 10 charities in a week because i was manic...i didn't actually have the money to pay for it and it took ages me for and my CPN to go though cancelling them. I stay well clear of chuggers for that exact reason (and the fact the initial ones passed my details on s i kept getting hounded by phone  )
Don't feel nad for not donating, chairty begins at home so look after yourself before you start worrying about othersThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
