How do you park?

Usually reverse in.
Also at supermarkets, as I tend to park far away from the entrance, where there's loads of room, and the spaces either side of the car are usually empty, to easily access the boot.
As well as the decreased risk of your car being hit by another car's door or another's person's shopping, the extra walk will do you good.0 -

I'd find it difficult to get my 4x4 into the narrow supermarket spaces if I drove in forwards.
I always reverse park. Can't always get the doors open afterwards......
But I always curse myself when I get back with the shopping.0 -
Change your car. I'm amazed how many people use 4x4s for shopping. Doesn't help the rest of us either by gobbling up so much space and spooling sideways visibility when exitting a parking space.0

The only exception for me is my kit car, which parks in my garage nose first so that the engine bay is up near my tools/workbench and at the same time keeps the fuel tank away from my bench grinder.
Good idea to park any petrol/diesel car nose first in a garage, to keep the exhaust fumes nearest to the door.Change your car. I'm amazed how many people use 4x4s for shopping
They aren't necessarily longer or wider than an estate car, just taller. But certainly there are plenty of people driving around in cars too big for them to cope with.0 -

I can't think of a single supermarket car park near me that has paths at the rear of the spaces. They all either back on to fences or rows of other cars.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

This is unfair, stay at home mums NEED a 4x4 to take the kids to school, else Tarquin and Elizabeth would have to walk it with the plebs.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Amazing how many reverse in, so do i, but the vast majority from what i see drive in and they even make a hash of that when trying to get a battle cruiser, sorry, mondeo insignia aldi or other bloated thing with the turning circle of a coach into the bay in one sweep, it's pitiful to watch, but ten time worse seeing the pigs ear they make of backing out.
Came round a blind corner into a village today, entrance drive immediately after the left hand bend, person of indeterminate gender reversing out of their drive, well done, fortnately i take my time on such roads where others regularly go through that village like their pants were alight.0 -
I usually drive straight in, mainly so that I can use the boot easily.
It really bugs me waiting for people to back in, especially when it takes them three attempts.0
