Just logged on to Universal Credit account and found a message saying that if we qualify we will be paid within 14 days. Fingers crossed everyone.0

I've crossed my fingers for you.... and my toes!I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0 -
Checked again and misread it - it said you will be paid in 14 days. Now it says you will be paid in 13 days. Countdown is on! Anything would be good but the figure I got from entitled to would be amazing.0

Sister bought me lunch today which was fab. I've spent £10 on train but nothing else.0

Lovely walk and picnic by the river today. Spent £8.95 on teas/soft drinks for everyone and my friend then bought us all icecream. It was a nice treat and was out of the £20 school holiday spends budget. Still stuck to all budgets and still very much in control :A
I love YNAB. It's so addictive :rotfl:0 -
Haircuts for me and DD today, gone up by £2. The horror
Rejigged the budget so the extra £2 comes out of my fun money. Haircuts are fun, right? Have a running joke with DS1 about what budget things come out of. We decided that jam should come out of entertainment but it depends what you do with it :rotfl:
The kids are being brilliant with all this. I've noticed that the less we buy, the less they ask for.0 -
Had to buy me and DH jeans today. Both pairs went through in the same week. In my case this has led to an interesting cheese grater effect on my inner thigh. Now need to rejig budgets to accommodate this spend. Luckily playing with YNAB is my favourite thing to do :rotfl:0

Got jeans and t-shirts for DH, jeans for me and a cardigan for work. Cardigan was reduced from £18 to £4 :money:
Did an interview for a researcher from the university and got a £10 love to shop voucher.
Fuelled up car and did lots of home baking and washing ready for holiday. Getting excited now, budget a bit tight but doable.0 -
