Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've still not cleared the ironing or had my shower (I'm going for that in a minute). Instead I've printed 5 more months worth of calender out, labelled it up with birthdays, work days, which bins need to go out when etc so now I can see what's happening up until the end of September. :) I'm itching to add something to the calender but I can't as its a surprise from ex for DD for her birthday so I have to wait.

I've also juggled the budget and paid the credit cards. Managed to juggle paying a few things around date wise so I've got a bit more of a financial buffer this month than I had yesterday. Not telling DD though, she'll have the money spent if I do  I also got another customer and actually managed to email them within a couple of hours of them placing an order as opposed to a few days like last time :D

I've eaten my tea early, ironed my clothes and a blouse for DD for tomorrow and juggled washing. Now its time for me to go for a quick shower and then off to Mr A's about 6-6.30ish for bulbs & some fresh bits so I can meet DD at the bus stop there. Her friend who she usually gets the bus home with isn't at club today so she'll get off nearer home while her other friends carry on.

Right, best move myself or I'll never make it in the shower :o Hope to fly from the list tonight when I get home.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Well pleased to report much done. All downstairs hoovered and 3/4 of stairs. Will finish top tomorrow when doing upstairs. At least anyone coming to hall will not see the mess that was there. All washing now brought in and on airers/hangers except 6 Bras hand washed just remembered they are still on line but will get them after dinner. Have put potatoes on for mash and sausages and onions in oven. Once OH has gone out for eve I will iron the shirts I washed today. DS has been given clean bedding and is changing his bed so that will be first in mc tomorrow morn. Have a couple of drawers from DD room to sort this eve, pens pencil to throw that sort of thing so nice and easy whilst watching tv.

Hi all. I'm going to start flying again, but will be from tomorrows list and whatever I can fit in from today's. Off work at moment with this cold/lurgy thing and debating on if I should go to the Dr's tomorrow due to the cough..

Although sick today still managed to do a roast chicken dinner, clip bunnies claws (3 of the 6 I have), and washed and changed the bedding.

I have a newly fitted bathroom and it's gorgeous and white and I want it to stay that way and I keep polishing the taps every time I go in there lol

Look after yourself and don't do too much!

Morning all and welcome to all newbies and returnees!

Well today's plans have gone right out of the window as we were up most of the night. Ds1 ha caught the sickness bug that has been going around school and obviously little miss was up twice needing a feed. So feeling a bit knackered today. OH got up at normal time to take ds2 to nursery and go to work. At least I got an extra hour in bed while little miss slept.
So instead of running loads of errands today I can get on and tidy up my pit!

    Strip and clean kiddies beds
    Wmx2
    Tidy up family room
    Label boxes in play room
    Write thank you cards
Pick up balloons for mums party tonight
Get friends birthday present (when OH gets home from work)
    Empty the airers

However what is the Binbag Dance please?
    X

I thought this was filing a bin bag with rubbish, recycling or for goodwill? Can anyone clarify please?

I don't know how you guys manage to get on here before the evening, I find myself being pulled in all sorts of directions by various members of the household!
Had a very busy day at school, but loved it. I really like the older children and felt like a proper teacher marking their latest English test.
I didn't get much flying done today, in fact zilch.
Tomorrow I have a couple of hours after nursery drop off before taking DS to school for the afternoon, so I might tackle the study and shred old paperwork etc, so the drawers on the bureau can actually close!
Hope everyone under the weather gets a good night's sleep and feels better tomorrow.x

Thanks for the advice re teenagers; pretty much what I suspected in that it's very normal but just have to go with the flow. Just hard to cope with as 1 J is away and 2 she was always a little sweetie. She does still have lovely moments though; I had a lovely hug from her earlier so all is not lost!

Mrs-MP I'll head to the Knitters Thread re yarn enquiry - thank you.

Hi all, no flying here either bear! I am currently sitting in the car waiting for DS2 to finish footie.

Up at half six, made stew for sc, paid stuff in job no. 1, home to hang out the washing and let the dog out, off to job no. 2, home by half four, dog walked, ds1 instructed in veg prep, stew eaten, kitchen tidied then footie. Will be home by quarter past eight if I am lucky.

I am tired now and need the loo. Bringing a big travel mug of coffee to the footie pitch was a mistake!
