    Good evening shoppers :j
Or you could get the pie, smuggle out the voucher as you are shopping and use said voucher for your first pie. If you find you like them, you could do again or take the conventional route...............

conventional route  but you would have no vouchers left as you had already redeemed it :rotfl:
..unless you get lucky and get two vouchers in first box :T

Any other week there always Carling on loads of receipts , they are hiding them I tells ya :)

Reminds me of condoms of all things. When some condoms quite a while back were about £3 in Sains. and usual price in A - it would have been quite a good APG difference and, whilst occasionally I find purchases of condoms on receipts and they normally either are non-comparable or they compare versus full prices, and sometimes lose out (sometimes because some other place is on mbuy offer with an inflated individual price and the shopper in A buys just one), [pauses to take a breath:rotfl:!] I hoped that someone would buy them at some point when S was on that price. They never did however and I had no wombles with any of them on throughout the entire duration of the S offer:(. They normally are something that people would buy in A at the normal prices but, on this occasion, none bought.

So sorry to hear about the floods Bubbs. I know in the grand scheme of things it isn't a big deal but a pain in the wotsit none the less, especially with everything else you've got on your plate. Your sister will be glad to have you though.

Holiday photo for TM - if you count three balconies to the left of the triangle thing, we're in the equivalent room immediately opposite that one. Came back from dinner and a walk to find turndown had been done and three chocs on each pillow. Now scoffed :D

Hang on!:rotfl: No posts for nearly two hours (I was away and just popped in) and now I seem to have started something!

Sorry to hear what's happened bubbs, on both (or possibly three or more) counts recently. Sometimes things do tend to go in threes and fours (and fives, sixes, sevens and eights sometimes:() and it looks like you're having a terrible year so far. We all have them from time to time, I've had my bad months or years in the past, and I'm sure sadly I will have another bad period at some point in the future (hopefully a long way off), but I just hope that things improve for you soon, on a number of levels. My best wishes are with you.

I think if we're looking out for a specific item to be on a receipt, whether it be the Sains condoms or the Carling now, it is unlikely to happen, because the chances of any particular, specific item being on any receipt are small. Obviously the more wombles that you manage to find the more chance you have of at least one of them having the required item on, although the chance of it being on any one receipt is I would have thought the same - nonetheless, stuff like Carling - maybe best trying certain times such as Friday nights or busy weekend shopping days as people may be more likely to purchase this type of item at these times? I had no idea before of the times of the week when people would be buying condoms, clearly:rotfl:.

Nonetheless, unlikely things do happen - such as my recent finding of the receipt with the ale glitch on it - and for them to buy in triplicate the very item that was on offer elsewhere and with the trigger item, the best combination possible, as well for me to find it purely by even less chance, at an A that I rarely ever visit (only been to once before in my life), that I only happened to visit now because I got lost on my way to M, that I just happened to be out at that A, quite a few miles away from my home, at that time of day, what are the chances of that happening? Purely my split-second decision to call at the earlier M, because I happened to be passing right outside it, then to spend an hour and a half there, and then happen to be at A later, at the right time, and to find that receipt. The chance was utterly remote, it seems to me. It also depended on these several chance events happening to occur in succession. But it happened. Had I said 'now I'm going to find an ale glitch on a womble', I would have been unlikely to find it. There doubtless are other glitches on other receipts that occur and are never found. But this one - it just happened to turn up, by amazingly remote chance. For it to be on a receipt on the one date on which I happened to be on an extremely rare visit at that A (as in I've only ever been at that A on two calendar dates in the last 12 months!)...

On that, more happy, note, folks, goodnight!:)
