So what happens if you dont like the pies ?
My son doesnt like them, others have said they're not keen, so what happens if no one in your house likes the pies ?
OK you paid next to nothing for them so you're alright Jack.
Why did you settle on six? Why not all eight ?
What if there were forty there, or eighty?
I genuinely want to know the logic behind the thinking, "its a great deal, so I'm gonna fill me boots". Even not having tried the product.

There is nothing particularly unusual about these - they appear to be either chicken/ham in a creamy sauce or beef in a pastry case. OK, so the stilton with the beef is slightly unusual but if you like chicken, like beef and like stilton and like pastry then you are hardly going to hate them enough to throw them away !

The logic behind "its a great deal so I'm going to fill my boots" is exactly the same as all (or nearly all ) of us on here do most of the time. I thought that was what a lot of the discussions etc on here were all about. I can't see the point of buying more than you can reasonably make use of but, if you have the storage available and will use them then I can't a reason to critisise.

    Good evening Elite.

Hugs to all (whether you need one or not. I'm in that kind of mood) but especially to bubbs. Can't believe you're flooded yet again.

Congrats on the little addition rose!

Hope your move goes smoothly scamps.

Scooby, I think you may have misread or misunderstood my post.

I decided on six because my DD, her OH and 2 children will be coming to dinner on Friday. So this was a perfect opportunity for us all to try them. I could be wrong but I thought that this was the point of these types of promotions. I certainly could not afford to buy 6 pies at £3.50 each. £21 for one meal:eek:

If you would like to read my post again you will see that it was "raving women" who had said "fill me boots" and not me. This was also the point that I walked away.

If anyone would like to look back through my posts you will see that it is unusual for me to relay any tales or make comments and this is exactly the reason why. It is far too easy, without facial expressions and body language for people to mis-interpret the written word. I certainly could be misunderstanding Scoobies meaning but I'm not really not sure.

I guess that, for me, it means I will not post so much (not that I do) for fear of being misunderstood.

I don't think you have misread anything - I reckon you were being 'got at' for absolutely no reason.

    Thankyou for asking aj.
I've had a rare midweek day off and been shopping alone. Sounds silly but I do struggle with going in shops. I had a melt down in Lidl :o
As part of my exposure response therapy I was supposed to face these fears everyday but with working I've only been going shopping at weekends when oh is with me so I'm guessing I've not progressed with recovery xx
