    Evening peeps. :)

On the subject of pies, I got 4 the other day and since then they've been OOS. Just as well as I'd have to freeze them and then move them to my new home!
Update on that. I'm signing for my new home tomorrow and moving on Saturday!! I'm soo flapping. I have no nails left and my house sounds so echoy with everything in one room ready to go. Just the basics to pack tomorrow plus unplug cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer, tv, etc... list goes on and on. I'll probably be MIA until Monday as I'll be sorting things out until then. Wish me luck. :)

Good luck scamps for the move X. It's a very stressful thing to go through but it sounds like you're sorted, packed and ready to go. Not got much left to do now.

Just think, Saturday night we can all come round for the party, bring some food and booze, it'll be great :T

Seriously, once Saturday arrives you'll feel easier about the entire situation and don't forget your new toy :rotfl:

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I'm not sure that will be the end of it because I had a letter some years ago saying it would rise again and it would be 67 and six months .....so don't hold your breath :(

I honestly think they are going to do the dirty on a lot of us and I can see it rising again before I get anywhere near
According to the figures it's £115 per week state pension - so is this each person so 2 people get £230 - is that correct?

I did our calculation yesterday - not totally complete because OH has got an old BR pension we don't know the figures for yet.

But I said to my OH don't look at the state pension, just the works pension figure, it could be 68 or even 69 and then even when you do ever get it, it will push you about the basic tax allowance and so you will start paying tax again out of your works pension :(
