Bubbs, hope everything goes well.
cjj, hows your son doing? x100 -
Thankyou for asking aj.
I've had a rare midweek day off and been shopping alone. Sounds silly but I do struggle with going in shops. I had a melt down in Lidl
As part of my exposure response therapy I was supposed to face these fears everyday but with working I've only been going shopping at weekends when oh is with me so I'm guessing I've not progressed with recovery xx
Cjj these things take time and with you being alone , probably rushed too triggers these melt downs off. Isn't it so much easier when there is someone with you for support, which no doubt you will eventualy be moving towards.
Don't let it get to you, you're here, you're safe, nothing untoward happened. Have a good sleep and face tomorrow as if today never happened.
Way back when, I had problems, panic attacks etc and felt to I'll to go to the shops alone in the end. But time and hard work, facing my fears got me there. Also my relaxation excercises I had been taught were brilliant at calming me down. If I feel really wound up these days I remember the relaxation and go shut myself away for an hour .
You'll get there sweetheart xxThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Aww thanks for sharing aj. Wanted to come home and cry but ds was home from college and i needed to be strong for him as he is my main concern at the moment. Really glad he has had a good day. I'm going away with work after work finishes tomorrow to a spa. I know I'm going to find it hard being away from home and feeling like this but believe it or not I've never been away with a group of girls. I make excuses not to do things............. XxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Whilst you lay there in the spa just concentrate on your breathing, slowly in through the nose then slowly out from the mouth, this helps to keep you calm X. Enjoy yourselfThere's no place like home

Does any of your friends that are going on the spa understand, as it is helpful if they can act as a buffer if you need some time out x100
