Hi, bit of a newbie here, but you guys were the first I thought of.
We're having some renovation work done shortly and I had to empty the dresser, so pulled it out to clean behind and found lots of dust, cobwebs and some mould. I've since dealt with this and driven OH mad asking for beds and furniture to be pulled out, so I can clean, but my question is this: How often should I be pulling out beds, wardrobes, bookcases etc to clean please?
    Thanks

Sorry not registered anything I've read so hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes and congratulations as appropriate.

I'm quitting for the week. I managed to do the kitchen worktops yesterday and some juggling of stuff then made the mistake of sitting down for 2 minutes. :o By the time I got up again it was 9.30 and time for bed.

Got up this morning at 5.50, left the house at 7.45 to catch the 8am bus to the comic con. Spent most of the trip there laughing at the faces people were pulling when they did a second take of DD in her costume :rotfl: Best bit was walking along the main dock road in one direction as all the people taking part in the Liverpool Half Marathon were heading the opposite way. It was definitely a case of feeling like we were going the wrong way. Left DD at the centre with her friends just before 8.30, walked home the long way (decided to explore Albert Docks shop windows while it was quiet), had a coffee went out and did the weekly shop, came home and started on the laundry. Apart from running the vacuum over downstairs and stripping my bed I've done almost nothing else. I'm just too tired.

DD is upstairs making her bed but I'm going to chase her as we haven't had tea yet and she still needs to shower. I have the feeling I'm going to be battling to be in bed by 10pm at this rate.

See you on the next thread tomorrow. I'm switching the laptop off for the night.

I'll try and get on here a bit. My children are both at school/nursery Wed/Thurs, so those are my only cleaning days during the week. Usually end up playing catch up on the weekend

In the olden days those sort of jobs would be covered by spring cleaning, so at least once a year!

Apologies for absence of several days; been busy changing logins on websites.
We got an email the other day stating that our email service is to cease, so we've had to set up new addresses, and of course I'm registered with just about every survey site under the sun, plus all the other stuff I'm with - Mensa, CAMRA, @mazon, and all the rest - and we have all our bills online, so those all had to be changed too.
Long and arduous task - I'm not even finished yet!

Haven't really had chance to read back, so I hope everyone's ok.

Mr LW starts his retirement in earnest tomorrow - well, that's when it'll start to seem "weird", not getting up and scratting about to kick him out of the house at 07:15 on a Monday.:D

    Back when I get chance.;)
