Morning all
LW hope you had a better night, the phantom smells cleared and you enjoy your lovley new visitors when they arrive. Strangely I occasionally get a strong lavender type perfume or a very distinct pipe smoke. They only ever appear if that's the right word for a smell in our house, usually when I'm alone so it's not anything anyone is wearing or doing. No one smokes here and even when fil was here he always went outside for a pipe.
At work this morning but will fly this afternoon as I did my friends shift yesterday so she's got my afternoon today.
Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons to all who need them
Hope moomin is recovering wellSPC~12 ot 124

Morning all.
Yesterday did not go to plan at all.Ran late to work, got to opticians at 10.38 when my appointment was 10.40! They did the usual tests, and then some extra ones and I've been told I need a stronger prescription and prism in my glasses. I may also need to start wearing them more often! Considering how annoyed I've gotten with my current ones getting in the way I'm not totally surprised
I picked new frames out again but had to get blokes ones so they were broad enough not to pinch my face, and long enough in the arms to actually go behind my ears! I also paid the extra and went for half-rims this time in the hopes they'll be less annoying when I'm trying to work on paperwork and the computer at the same time. I can't wait for them to be ready as I'm sick of the blurred vision I've had lately.
Anyway by the time I was done at the opticians, and picked up a couple of bits from Mr A & Mr Al it was nearly 1pm when I got home. Put the shopping away, had lunch, took some painkillers as I had a headache and despite trying to work I just could not focus. I mean I literally could not focus, my eyes where hurting, hot and I was getting blurry vision and I couldn't string a sentence together properly when typing. I ended up on the sofa, under the quilt trying to sleep but Zack had other ideas and kept climbing on me. DD got in from school and helped me process the accounts for work as I couldn't add up or use a calculator properly (I just kept making silly mistakes) and then make a couple of deliveries.
When we got home we tried her make-up for comi-con this weekend and it was a disaster. So on top of work which I have today, I also need to go to the costume shop in town and get some stuff as the facepaints ex & DD bought at the weekend from Ar90s don't cover her freckles and there's not enough to do thicker layers :rotfl: I also need to buy fake blood then go somewhere cheap for make up brushes (I am not letting her have mine and she's destroyed hers) and cosmetic sponges. Good job I have a delivery to make in that direction and I need to go to the bank!
Speaking of which, I better update my bank accounts (so I can see how much money I have left this month...the answer is not a lot!) and get gone to make this delivery. Then town, then home to sort books and put them out before making another delivery tonight and doing another dry run for the make-up.
I can't wait to do some sort of flying other than laundry! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Been quite productive so far. I've given Whiz zoomies down the park with the ball thrower - need to run some energy out of him ready for Agility at 1; the weather has been so pants we haven't really been anywhere. Then I let the chooks out and topped up feeders etc. I stripped our bedding and put it on a hot wash and have just hung it up on my midden over the stairs. Rattled off another report for A and then warmed up by cleaning the bathrooms. About to have an early lunch as starving, then a bit more typing for G this time then leave for Agility at 12.30. That's the plan anyhow. I'm so much more productive when I have stuff to do otherwise I just drift along and before I know it it's 2.30 and I've done diddly squat.
Nicki, sounds like you had a rough day yesterday sweetie - hope today is better for you xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Here's the cake. Fortunately my goddaughter thinks it's great! It took me an hour to pack it all in boxes this morning.
I have been out this morning to have my nails and eyebrows done, and I've got an appointment for a trim this afternoon
I need to sort out my box of bits for my course this evening and get DH to sign a card and post that. Otherwise I shall probably crash out this afternoon because I got up at some ungodly hour. At least I managed to write the two big emails before breakfast.
Glad to hear your DS1 is OK, Frizzle.
Mumof2, you are definitely on a roll :T
Hope your new specs make everything better, Nicki.
Enjoy your new visitors LW. Less than two days to go for MrLW :j

Wow, that's fabulous!! Well done you. The most artistic thing I've ever done is when I turned a swiss roll into a caterpillar for S's 3rd birthday .... not very impressive reallyFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
