Raining here. Paid stuff to do but hope to have a quick bathroom clean before I go.

Morning all. I haven't even drawn the curtains back and I know it's throwing it down.

I feel fine today after yesterday's drama. Starting research on alternatives today.

Hope everyone has as good a day as possible. We have a visitor at the weekend, so I shall be doing some gentle fluttering. The steroids they gave me to try and avoid the reaction are still in my system, so I might as well use them....

Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons to all

At hospital with mil today, to discuss the last Mri hoping convo doesn't stray onto dd3s hair or wedding plans or I may snap. (Taking a book to bury myself in just incase.)

Won't have much time to fly today but plan to catch up later.

Wet and miserable out, so stay warm dry and safe.

Mrs-MP you sound like you have the patience of a saint with MIL; hope she doesn't start on about DD3. Good plan re book.

CY we have awful rain here too - just when Z has PE and S has running club after school!! Make sure you only flutter very gently honey x

Frizz great news re Miss F's weight gain! I can remember colic days and they were pretty grim and I couldn't get anything done unless either S or Z was in a carrier right on me all the time. Glad DS liked the reward chart!

S just scoffed 6 Weetabix - that boy's having another growth spurt for sure and he's going through the tall and lean stage; he's really fit and there's nothing spare on him at all. Wish I could say the same for myself! Just got my 5th job in for new person and expecting a job in for original chap too so will do the job that arrived overnight and then get on with some proper cleaning.

Have a great day all x

    Morning all

Belated Happy Birthday CY. Sorry to hear you had an allergic reaction. Hope the research into an alternative if fruitful! x

On going work problems will hopefully be reported to someone senior today. Someone who isn't even in my area has pulled out all the stops and helped me loads. Now its down to me to get it sorted with bigger boss without going to the biggest boss (which I was thinking was a little over kill!). I'm hoping 5 years of frustration can be laid to rest either today or within the next week. :)

Silly amount of work still to be done today, my stress levels on a scale of 1 to 10 are at about a 50 and I have an opticians appointment this morning which may prove interesting as my normal vision today is blurry due to tiredness and over use of the computer the last few weeks. :( Flying is still taking a back seat.

Time for work since its 8.30

    Morning all

Grey, wet and windy here too. DH has gone to take the car to have its cooling system checked, as we think there's a leak somewhere. He was going to walk home, but I hope he has the sense to take a couple of buses instead, even though he wouldn't be able to use his bus pass and he has become quite tight-fisted compared to when I first knew him :rotfl::money:

Glad to hear that you're feeling better today, CY.
Pigpen, I hope Moomin is recovering well.
Fingers crossed that your MiL doesn't start criticising again, mrs-mp - you don't deserve anything but thanks for all you do for her.
Well done Little Miss Frizzle on your weight gain :T
Less than three days to go now, LW

    My list for today
    - phone DGS4, one year old today
    - 2 emails
    - 2 cards
    - prep 2 courses
    - finish cake
Anything else will be a bonus :o

I spoke to my goddaughter yesterday evening and have been told the final details of what the dogs will be wearing - they're coming to the wedding too! - so that I can finish off the models on the cake to match :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hopefully pictures later!

Have a good day, everyone. Spoons and sticks a-plenty here - please help yourselves. (((Hugs))) all round x

  • Morning all,

cy please don't overdo it! That's an order x

mrsmp many keep calm vibes heading your way re Mil.

iona can't wait for the pics.

My list for today is nothing. I've had a chesty cough and sore throat (not to mention the conjunctivitis) for days now, and have just been carrying on as if I'm fine. Today is my day off the paid stuff, and my body knows this and has told me to have a duvet day. For once I am going to listen, don't care what the house looks like, I need some rest. Have a good day all x
