Sorry to hear home life is stressful at the moment YL. Sending calming thoughts x When DH feels rough, he takes it out on everyone around him, so you have my sympathies :(

Thanks. So true, and DS1 doesnt know when to just take himself off out of the way. Things are a bit calmer now. My parents have called and Mum wants some dates for when we want them to dog sit so we can get away camping. Mum thinks I need something to look forward to, bless her. Off to tidy the kitchen and not do much else.

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes. It has been a day of highs and lows.

Today was a chemo day, but I had chatted to the consultant yesterday and we had a plan to avoid last week's allergic reaction.

So I arrived at the hospital dosed up on steroids and antihistamines. We gave it a go, but I produced a more severe reaction after a smaller dose than last week.

Both daughters were present. The one who coped with the reaction last week got really scared and upset, the one who got upset when I fainted coped really well.

I was fine as soon as they stopped it, but I did have to have Oxygen for a few minutes.

This is the end for this chemo. They have added it to the list of drugs I am allergic to. Consultant appointment next Monday.

The rest of my birthday is has been great. My presents were fantastic and I have had my sister staying here Sunday and Monday night's which was great. DD2 turned up at the hospital with a caterpillar birthday cake!!!!

I am fine now, if still buzzing from the steroids, but I am so sad that the girls got so upset.

Hope everyone on here is okay. Will try and post more over the next few days..

CY so sorry you reacted to the drugs again; lovely that you got good birthday presents and yay for having your sister coming to stay!

Pigpen glad Moomin's op went well

Yorkshirelass glad things a bit calmer again now; it's awful when things get heated and there's rowing. It's nice that your Mum thinks you need something to look forward to and is coming to dog sit for you.

FurryBeastOz glad things went well at the groomers today.

Dizzy glad today has been calmer.

I've not done a lot of housework but the ironing pile is non-existent now :T! Had a good chat to minister's wife for my counselling session and she's so pleased with the progress I've made with J in the last fortnight and how strong I've been. I've done 2 typing jobs for new person and got another one coming in tomorrow for original person so nice to have a few more £s coming in. Feeling a bit flat right now; don't know why but I know it'll pass again soon.

Going to have an early night tonight as tired out and shoulder aching. I'll sign off for now - goodnight xx

Did a fair bit considering little miss has been quite clingy. She is struggling with colic I think and whenever I put her down she is struggling! But she is putting loads of weight on so that is good.

Finally finished the boys reward chart. When ds2 saw it he said 'wow! That's amazing!' Which made me smile. I just hope it helps with his behaviour!

Two lots of paid stuff today, should get home for an hour in between to get changed and let the dog out! Pouring down here, have put the recycling out in my pink fluffy dressing gown and DSs wellies. What a sight! Right, need to move. Have a good Wednesday everyone x
