    Afternoon all

Hugs CY, rest sweetie, expect you're bored of resting though.

Very productive couple of days including car cleaning inside (kids did outside)
Caught up with the laundry including beds and towels
Recycled all the governing stuff I can, rest in a pile to handover and a pile for school to shred.
Started mass tidy of the DR so I can finally think of moving my desk out and getting a bigger table.
Used my new long handled prunners to cut a load off a tree

Exhausted now. Going to get the washing in and think about dinner. Think I'm done for the day.

Hope you are feeling comfortable and a bit better today CY X

    2x Wm done

We have just ventured into the shed to retrieve kitchen and ceiling paint. I hope it hasn't gone off. I need to crack on with decorating. That's if I can move tomorrow. My cat tripped me up yesterday, I fell with my hand still attached to the front door handle so I have pulled a muscle and nearly dislocated my shoulder.

    No I am here
Kitchen and bathroom cleaned today plus two lots of washing done
    And it's warm!

Yesterday small boy thrusts out left foot and asks if his plimsoll is on the right ( ie correct foot.
    No says I
Off he goes, comes back, asks again to be told no again.
Third time I asked to look at both his feet...
He was wearing two left plimsolls, same design, different sizes.
I suggested he did PE in his shoes...

I laughed - and, fortunately, so did he!

Just got back to DS's house where we're staying, after a long but enjoyable day at my daughter's wedding. The cake survived - just, with a few emergency repairs and judicious positioning of the layers so that all the sunflowers with broken petals were hidden at the back :rotfl: - and was much admired, but most importantly it tasted really good. They have plenty left to give away or eat themselves, too. It was good to see several old friends there too, and my goddaughter looked stunning. I even got a hug from her husband, who normally doesn't do them for anyone other than her, so I feel very honoured :)

DGS 1+2 gave us a piano recital and demonstration of their new train set this morning, and we might get a trumpet recital before we leave (parting fanfare?). They are coming to stay with us for a few days after Easter.

I have just finished my hot drink so must go to bed. A longish drive home tomorrow, but we will stop off somewhere for lunch.

Glad you've been well looked after during the post-steroid crash , CY. Take care.

    Goodnight all.

    Morning

Had a really good clean yesterday, did mountains of washing too. It took me most of the day.

Thanks Pigpen. I dont think I have had them because I havent had any symptoms but I am still a bit paranoid. Trying to make sure everyone gets a shower first thing on a morning. We all have our own towels anyway but I am washing everything more often than usual!

Going out shopping today but for boring DIY stuff.

Glad the wedding went well and the cake was a success Iona.

Right, going to try and get everyone moving soon, it will take us an hour to get to the big shops!
  • Morning,

Very good day yesterday, spent morning tidying up and ironing, or for lunch, food shopping, then walked dog, then rest of afternoon spent up our drive chopping back lots of overgrown bushes and trees. We've neglected it and it really needed doing. We will finish it today. The drive is l-shaped and half of it runs parallel to quite a busy road. You wouldn't believe the amount of rubbish we cleared up out of the bushes. People who just toss litter out of their car windows! Unbelievable! Coffee cups, empty bags of fast food etc. Drives me bonkers! Rant over.

Anyway, more of the same planned today, after a coffee and a hot cross bun.

iona so glad the wedding was lovely.
cy hope you get some energy, but if you do, don't use it all up x
