Morning all. Glad the cake went down well ionafan. (((hugs))) cy

Good start to the day. Defrosted the freezer before church. No UFO's. In fact my list was complete with a few extras. I am now at the dangerous stage - a complete empty basket. I must resist the temptation to shop until I have eaten through the odds and ends.

Have some planting to do this afternoon, also baking and SEWING. (It's been sitting there for months and I keep saying I'll do it during the rugby.) It didn't happen yesterday because I went for a run instead of watching.

    Have a great Sunday afternoon.

Hello everyone. Hope you're all ok. I've only read back this page so:
CY - glad you're being taken care of.
Dancemum - ouch for the shoulder.
Piggers - sorry but I laughed at the advent calendar story.
Iona - glad you had a lovely time at the wedding.

My news - DD has just got engaged, and OldDogs meds have been changed and she's a little livelier now. Other than that it's just been paid stuff really.

I've had a very busy morning, playing perfect housewife and cooking DH a full English breakfast, doing a long dog walk and the big shop on my own.

DH has now gone to work, so I'm planning to pop to the post box with the dogs, and when I came back, hoover/sweep/mop through the house, then get back out in the lovely sunshine and do some gardening.

I hope everyone is having a great day.

One more knitty project to finish and I can start on my dog coats! .. I've put it off because it means scratting about under the stairs!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing a dogcoat. Congratulations, btw.

Strengthening vibes and a (((hug))) CY.
    *Shoulder healing vibes*, Dancemum.
Huge congratulations for DD's wedding, Ionafan. Dunno why, I thought the cake was for god-daughter's Christening.
Biscuit Monster, the stuff people chuck out of their cars for someone else to clear up amazes me. Sorry they're using your hedge as a dumping ground.
Huge congratulations on your DD's engagement, Jazee. I'm glad OldDog's perked up a bit - I've been getting a bit concerned from one or two of the things you've mentioned.

It's so lovely to be able to do a load of washing without thinking about it. That's two done and pegged out this weekend. Other than that all I was going to do today was refold all the stuff in my two tops drawers ready to Kondo at some point in the future. As it turned out a bag of stuff is now lodged at the nearest CS, all four drawers look lovely and the wardrobe has had prune and sort as well. I now realise I have one pair of blue jeans and ten black or grey pairs of jeans and trousers. Hopeless.
    Better is good enough.

Me again. I did everything I intended to but the gardening only really amounted to putting compost and a new seed tray in the greenhouse and watering what's already in there.

Am now cooking the dogs tea, got to make it nice so OldDog takes those meds.

See you all on the new thread, I promise to be in this week.

Thanks for shoulder wishes. It is very sore and stiff but I'm trying to move it. Cooker hood filter changed.

DH has ironed, cleared up leaves and poked holes in the marsh (lawn on clay soil)

Outlet village visited as shoes I bought for ds2 didn't fit even though that was the sized he measured. DH bought a few Cadbury goodies and ds2 got some Pokemon cards. We were home by 11am.

Ds2 has also grown out of his trousers/jeans. I need to measure him and order some online. I couldn't face him trying on in store. Shoe shop was enough for this week.

Lego collection has been brought back into Living room so there will be room for ds1 to come home.

Congratulations jazee's DD and fianc! X

Ionafan - did you send me an email or has your email account been compromised?
No, I haven't emailed you. DH hasn't received anything from me, and none of my other contacts has said anything (yet). I will ring DS1 and check with him too.

Neither! We stayed with DD (she got married 10 years ago) and her family for two nights so that we were only an hour's drive from my goddaughter's wedding (she was christened 25 years ago). All three godparents were at the wedding, all very relieved that she's made it this far after a turbulent childhood.

We got home about 45 minutes ago and I have drunk a much-needed cup of tea, unpacked and put everything away. I'm going to sit down with another cuppa now and relax after doing all the driving this weekend.

I couldn't have got it more wrong, could I, Ionafan?! I think I may have had an odd email from you a couple of weeks ago, but as it contained nothing but a link I just deleted it.

    Bedroom dusted top to bottom.
