I applied a few weeks ago and got the automated email saying the pack would be sent to me. A few days later I still hadn't received it so I emailed AQA. I then received the pack the same day from Romany and returned the test and the application form a day later. Just got my rejection email Really don't know why I didn't get in. The email says that you can't reapply for 6 months and that after 2 attempts they won't consider further applications.

Sorry to hear that.
I received the application pack yesterday and returned it to them last night. Just waiting to hear now.

It is just a file saved on your computer, you can save and revisit it as many times as you like before emailing it back.

When I was looking through the AQA threads on this board I noticed that a lot of the people accepted do not have degrees.

I emailed the code to them yesterday morning and received my application pack from them this morning.

I've just sent it back to them - fingers crossed!

I've just sent off for an application to A2A.

Anyone know how it works if you already have a full time job? How do you declare it? How do you become self employed? Do you have to get an accountant for A2A? Will my current employer find out?

Hi,

You have to let the HMRC know and they will send you a self assessment form to fill in. You have to do this within three months (I can't remember exactly now so double check with them). You then fill in a tax return each year and pay the tax via an annual bill. I have worked for them for a year and can't see how my full-time employers would find out.
