  • Afternoon Everyone!
    Been flying around like a proper mummy today! Have baked BlackSaturn's malt loaf and weetabix brownies and roast dinner in oven with BS chocolate mousse for pud! Yum! Kids are hovering in the kitchen waiting for cakes to cool and even DH is drooling!
    Went to Wembley yesterday (freebie from boss!) I learned lots of football chants and even managed to singalong (come on you Eng-er-land!) Although DH did tell me off for reading the programme when the game had started!!!
    Bedrooms all tidy and ironing pile conquered!! (DD1 and DS have even done their homework - wonders will never cease!!!) Tonight friends coming round but next week I MUST MUST file my tax return online. If you see me on here tomorrow night - shout at me!!!
    Hugs to all in need!! Hope to see you all later!

    Rather than focus on what I havent heres what I have done

    S/S kitchen
    S/S Bathroom
    Cleared table and wiped it
    Emptied DW and reloaded
    Swept all the floors downstairs
    Wipe stairs down
    Sorted washing
    WM x 4
    TD x 4
    Meal plan for the week
    Food Shopping trip with DD
    Shopping put away

    DD is better this afternoon. She still hasnt done any chores and I have given up asking and her bedrooms a [strike]pigsty[/strike] tip (just in case any pigpens get offended :D ). Still she wont be able to have TV or playstation as I took the fuses out this morning and she's not getting her roast for dinner (a big ritual on Sundays) she's getting beans on toast. If she cant make the effort neither can I.

    Better take her and walk doogie as then it'll be tea, bath and bed for her.

    Catch ya's later
    Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • I'm not going to be the first to post but I've had a sneaky peep. I won't spoil it for those who haven't looked yet!
    Rach, it's a shame you don't get to spend a lot of time with your OH, who'll move when you marry? Looking forward to seeing you cross those jobs off your wedding planning list, I do like a big mission (even better when soeone else is doing it!)
    Gingergirl, wow you have been a 'proper mummy' today. My little Bro once told my mum she wasn't a proper mummy 'cos she didn't wear an apron, (she would have been about 25 at the time). Now; did you wear an apron? :rotfl:
    Kazmeister, good approach I'd say.

    Ceiling painted, light fitting put back together, walls that I didn't strip painted, everything wiped as I brought it back in and I've scrubbed the floor. Only 2 doors to gloss and the dreaded re-papering to do. A job for next weekend I think, I need to Fly to the list this week in the evenings.
    I'm beat but I need to make something to eat and do Pen-Pen's sweet bread thing if there's time.

    That's me done on this thread, catch you all on the other one later this evening. :wave:

    Wow, just read through everyone's achievements so far today - wish I'd been at home to tackle stuff!

    I've just got home after a weekend of working and I have stuff to do before getting train back to London tomorrow so have to leave house at 0730! If anyone is still up, wish me luck...I'm pooped.

    I thought if I put my to do list here I'd have to complete before hitting the sack! Going to list to do and done since got home at 2230 to make me feel better:

    * [strike]check train times
    * collate photos for aunt
    * pay two CC bills[/strike]
    [strike]
    * update work expenses forms
    * email work re-expenses so can claim back ASAP rather than leaving ages and then running out of money!
    * update business accounts with this weekend
    [/strike] 23:55 getting through the list!
    [strike]
    *scan train tickets to keep for records before posting to claim refund for delays
    * send email to chase AN about payment as low on dosh!

    * get paperwork together to take to London:
    *Uni study
    *Online course study
    *Computer course study
    *bills, forms etc.
    [/strike]00:30 not long now!
    * [STRIKE]
    wash up, swish kitchen

    * pack clothes as staying away from home for 7 nights, pack some dirty to wash when away!
    * get clothes out for morning already ironed thanks to flylady thread :)
    * charge phone
    * wash face paint off!
    [/STRIKE]COMPLETE AT 0108 :T
    Phew - it's 2330! Oh dear. Had busy weekend helping out at a family event and I'm covered in face paint :) I forgot I had it on tonight and had some funny looks when I went for a meal with colleagues!

    Right...must get on.
