Woohoo!
Party bags all made up
Prizes wrapped up
house is clean-ish and tidy-ish
and your damn right, I am so dressing up! Lovely 'witchy' skirt and lace cardi, look very very Harry Potter-ish. Got a wand, (bought them 'for the kids') and now hair... I can make it go right frizzy and messy looking. Will take pics, maybe... depends if I feel fat or not. Ha, can just say I'm Molly Weasley!
Will wear tights for that all over black look, plus better for sliding!0 -
Welcome to the thread Peaches,I think Pigpen might be at the helm of the good ship Flylady next week, the routine might take us into unchartered waters, keep an eye out for the new thread on Monday!
Lol.. don't scare her off already!!!! I'm not that bad..but yes I am wearing the fly-mules and brandishing the golden feather-duster of power next week!
The routine will be pretty much the same (you won't have to clean your oven) and there are a few new ones thrown in for good measure... basically stuff I need to get done so you lot all have to do it as well!!! The only clue you will be getting is this.. the room order is staying the same .. just in case you want a head start!! ;o) ... See... Im not THAT mean!!!!!
I will aim to post the new thread tomorrow by about 5/6pm..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen has he not asked for anything?
For my Christmas when I was 16 or so, I was given £100 cash. With the understanding that it was to be used for clothes or something.
No idea if it would mean as much today though. But I loved the idea of me having money to spend as I wished. Got a load of new clothes in the sales and make up etc.
OMG! That would be 10 years ago! I know I'm getting old when 10years go by so quick! hehehehe!0 -
Tia ..nope.. he hasn't mentioned a thing.. he never does.. in fact none of them do though they all love DD2's DS so I am getting most of them a DSlite so they will all stop arguing over DD's and stop DS3 and DD3 from nicking it!!! Only thing is I need 6 and have only found them in 5 colours and we already have pink! lol AND it is DS1's birthday on the 29th and he hasn't come up with anything he wants then either.. he is a nightmare to buy for!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Sonic cleaned out, will learn not to just pressume he will stay asleep while I clean part of the cage and leave it open as he did a leap off the sofa while I was in the kitchen and legged it under the sofa. Make sure cleaning under sofa is on that list for next week Pigpen there is half a dog under mine I think, Sonic came back out furry
:rotfl:Oh and I did my oven earlier, because as usual I spilt something! So ner!
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi,
I hope its ok for me to join, I have been reading the thread for weeks now and have recently been flying.
I have cleaned within an inch of its life the whole of my downstairs, lounge/dining room - blinds, rugs, cushions, emptied the bookcase, drawers and sorted, the understairs cupboard is tidy, the kitchen has been tackled, every cupboard and drawer sorted and cleaned, the fridge/freezer sorted and cleaned, the oven is like brand new. Every window downstairs has been cleaned.
I am so pleased with myself, I thought I would post some pictures of the results, but I don't think that would be allowed - my husband said are we moving - he has never seen it so clean and clutterfree, he said I have gone a wee bit overboard on the de-cluttering though - I don't think Anthea will agree with him.
I am going to make a start on the upstairs tomorrow - I have 4 bedrooms to tackle and 2 bathrooms - I might be sometime.
I have alot of cr*p to put on E-Bay, someone will buy it - I did,and then I realised I didn't need it!
A big thank you to you all for the motivation, as you can see its 1.25am and I can't sleep cause I want to get started on the upstairs - I must get out more!"Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does, except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place." — Abigail Van Buren0 -
Wow Merlot, that's impressive...!! I only joined up yesterday, so don't know if that qualifies me to welcome you, but as I'm here online early, I shall do so anyway! I am told the experts on here will help us work more wonders :-)
I was going to sort a load of stuff to Ebay as well & DD1 doing a boot sale next weekend which will also help - motivation for this week to have a major clearout!
Not doing loads today, taking it easy after yesterday's bout of energy or I'll start coughing again, but couple of loads of washing to go out and might faff about with paperwork/filing a bit more. Or sort some of the drawers in pine chest in the hall. Other than the 1 with the photos in I never use anything in any of the others, so that can all go!
So - morning all - time for a cuppa & catch you later!Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0
