    Good morning everyone,
Merlot you have done so well,
Squiggly Diddly, i've loads for ebay as well, gonna wash all today and push myself to get it on this week.

Flying today in the house finished outside for now, thank goodness.
Going to do 15 minutes in every room and then do it over again. I'm not doing to well at the flying, i tend to go like mad at for a day and then the next day i'm wrecked and don't want to look at the house, so i'm really gonna stick to it this week and do what i'm suppose to do on that day.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Morning everyone.

Welcome to merlot and Squiggly diddly. Sounds impressive Merlot. I think you should post some piccies. Might motivate someone else.

Well, so far, not a bad start. DH made me a bacon butty and a cuppa, and then washed up while i dressed DS. Must be a novelty of the pregnancy :rotfl:

I have got the WM on already with a load of bibs, and best get dressed soon to get on with some preparation for school next week and some housework. Yesterday went too quickly, and although we were busy all day, i still didn't feel like i had done enough. Partly because i burnt the back of my wrist while getting dinner out the oven, and then had to sit with a bag of peas on my hand to stop it hurting.

It's a lovely day so i am going to crack on through the washing pile, and we will play with DS in his new swing. I am going to stop calling him baby now he is approaching 1, and there will be the new baby too.

Anyway, hope you all have a successful and productive day.

    Michellle, x

    Morning everyone

WOW Merlot, not sure you need us!!! Would love to see some pics and welcome :)

Well I have done no flying since Wednesday and will get nothing done today as I out last night the kids slept at Mum & Dad's. Am about to go to church and join them and then straight after we are taking mum for a birthday flight, she doesn't know about it yet! Got to squeeze lunch in somewhere along the way. Won't be back until later this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

    Morning

Welcome Merlot - and yes piccies please, I love looking at peoples photos, I'm a nosey mare.

Gonna stick the washing machine on in a sec, do dishes, hoover through, go to Asda - just the usual dailies. It's sunny again today (now where was all this hot weather in August?) so no doubt I'll be living in darkened rooms this afternoon, it gets so hot I have to close all the curtains plus I can't see the pc screen either when the sun's blazing in, and we can't have that! :p

Have a good day folks! x
  • Morning all,
Welcome to the thread Merlot, sounds like you've done loads already!

Even though it's gorgeous outside already I'm going to do some of the kitchen DIY. I've emptied it of everything movable and going to start on the ceiling shortly. I've got an awful strip light that there's no getting around but I can take it apart and clean it up I suppose. Then I'll see just how much paint I've got left 'cos I sure aint going out for more looking like I do at the mo!

I'll stop by for a cuppa about 10.

Have a lovely day doing what you're doing.

  • Welcome to Merlot and Squiddly.

I'd love to see some photos Merlot, being a bit on the curious, ok nosey, side too!

Yetserday I took DS to the library and in the afternoon we went along to an adoption and fostering info day. Left our details with a local authority, never know may be something positive will come of it.

Did lots of ironing around being in and out yesterday and my pile is now down to 4 things which I'll finish off after I've taken DS out to the park and then done a bit of shopping.

DH has man flu so it is next to useless.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hi everyone especially all new flyladys

Well its just me and DD from hell again today. We've had rows and tantrums already so someone help me before she reaches her teens!

Seem to be back in the old situation of doing everything at weekends again now I'm back at work, and feeling exhausted again. The thought of trying to keep on top of everything with the kids no longer pulling their weight now they're back at school. I cant do it all, when are they going to realise, and poor OH has 14 x 12 hour shifts in the next 16 days.

Still need to meal plan, food shop, do all the washing from this week, last weeks ironing, the rest of my list and some GF baking. How many hours are there in a day?!!

Best get butt into gear and get started.

Might pop in at cuppa time

    OOPS IT IS COFFEE TIME
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Good morning all! Well done merlot, definitely put up pics, we love 'em! Welcome also squiggly!

DS is at his nanny's, so we're cleaning (ish) and faffing.

Have changed the bed and put first load of washing on and am just about to shower. Good job too, my feet smell like brie. x
  • Cuppa anyone?

Strip light is down and cleaned (how many flies?!) and yes, I did turn the electric off before I set to with a wet scrubby.. I bought Starclen for the first time yesterday, Stardrops just wasn't doing the trick in places, boy can it shift! Discovered I had absolutely no paint left at all, well not white, so I've scrubbed the tiles instead while I'm in my scruffs. I think they came out of the ark and had a build up of various coloured paint along the edges. Starclen, you make my life so easy!!

Looks like I'm going to have to go out after all. Once I've finished my tea of course.

Edit to say, uughh, Maralum, too much information, lol !
