Coffee with valium for me. Going from bad to worse with DD. She rang her dad in the middle of a resus so I gets a call from him telling me to sort her out - like I can !!! Then I find a bedroom window wide open with a pile of cushions stacked up on the chair thinking she's gone out, last time had to have her rescued by a fire crew off a ledge, luckily not this time but cant tell me why she did it.

Shut up Kaz finish your coffee and just get on
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Oh hell kaz, she really is giving you the runaround in a dangerous way. I really don't know what to suggest that you probably haven't tried already and am very unqualified in the kids dept. You have my sympathies though.

Back from shopping, got my paint, went to Asda, nipped to the Metro Centre to Holland & B trying not to look in the windows of all the other shops on the way and now I've got to get back into my scruffs and start again. I really can't be bothered. Ho hum, soonest started soonest finished I suppose.

Kaz.. Sounds like she is being a little toad.. see how nicely I put that!!.. I'd have hubby give her a right going over when he gets home for calling him at work.. given his job that is WAY out of order!!! I'd have all priveleges confiscated and I'd have her right next to me all day every day helping do jobs until she shorted herself out. It does sounds very much like hormonal pre-teen though.. she'll outgrow it in about 13 years!!!! lol When I was typing up DS1's coursework the other day there was a question sheet about his upbringing..
    1. Describe your upbringing Stable and well disciplined

That did make me laugh he does really think I am mean lol.. what can you say.. and this is my worst behaved one who probably did similar things to your DD.. he is 16 this month and on the whole is somewhat better than he was.. he once rammed his bike in my stomach when I was pregnant with DD4 and made me bleed!! He was a nightmare!!

I hope your day gets better!!

I'm off to fill anothe rbinbag.. from DS1's room.. I've done 1 already.. including 3 pairs of stinking dead trainers!!

    Afternoon all.

Just glanced back across the threads and I am definitely in the I have lost the flying plot cohort!

Just got back from DS2 football. DS3 came off his bike and has a big graze, he is itchy too - hayfever I guess, he has not had it much at all this year so I am surprised, is today a bad day for pollen?

Have a bid on my kids bike seat on ebay and lots of watchers which is good. I have decided to buy a 2nd hand tag along with the proceeds as I had to walk to football as the ride is too tricky for DS3 but it would have been much easier with a tag along.

Right i need to write a shopping list for tomorrow and finish the kitchen hotspot. I have so much to do I really don't know where to start.

Quiet so far here but club just kicked out and neighbour just walked down the path, usually Sunday is when we've had problems so far. He's aware there is now a camera facing the cars (he doesn't know it's not recording yet and doesn't need to know!) we're going out about 4pm ish so going to leave DPs mobile number with neighbour. I've rang about another couple of properties today, some already gone one is getting back to me.

Unfortunately other things on my mind, my BIL has just taken his second fit this week, thought his epliepsy was under control but seems it isn't, he's been taken to A&E so much have been bad as the last one the medics just dealt with at the house. I'm pretty much on call to go and get my neice and nephew if required. He'll be gutted as was just about to start taking driving lessons.

As for housework, hmm, well I'll do more tomorrow :) did some tidying and basic cleaning but nothing special, just lost the will power at the minute.

Kaz, sounds like she's being a little handful, looks such an angel aswell doesn't she. Mumoftwo you are braver than me, was long ago now but remember being the same age and having sleep overs, we must have been a right handful.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Spent most of today twiddling on the pc, creating one of those "family organiser" calendars that I can just print out.... Adding in the regular stuff as I type, then can just scribble extra bits on as & when. Got a noticeboard up in the hall now with a chore list for the week on it.

Done 4 loads of washing in/out so far & a 5th in the machine.
DD's making cakes.... (so I fear entering what was a reasonably tidy kitchen). I went to bed with a shiny sink last night :-)

Poor you Kaz, sounds horrendous - I thought mine were bad, but they haven't done anything like that... It's horrible when you get to be the one at home doing all the boring day-to-day stuff, nagging & when they see their father, generally it's nice times... Perhaps he does need to shout at her as well?..

    hello all

OH has gone home now, leaving me a nice lot of the day still left. we always find sundays a bit odd as its hard ti make the most of it as we know he has a train to catch at some point, and it kinds of looms over us! i have church sunday mornings til 12.30 and with a train anytime from 1550 doesn't give us long. but its fine. we had lunch at subway (often do on a sunday!) and then came back and just chilled etc. have sorted out the weekends and where we'll be for them right up until christmas so thats a good thing. we've also written me a wedding / general list of things to do this week as well as flying which i'll post in a seperate post.

well, the denby saga is sorted. we had a chat / argument yesterday morning, turns out he felt that i was the one who was being unreasonable as i'd orginally said i didn't want expensive stuff. i explained that i'd changed my mind and was trying to please him and how for once i just wanted stuff that was not cheap or second hand. i cried a bit and he said just go for it if its really important to you. :) he didn't want me to be unhappy and we even went to debenhams to look at the different ones i like. i explained to him that just like he wouldn't buy a cheap tv i felt i would like quality stuff. anyway, all is good so i have the green light to sign up to a store's gift list service. i'll drag a friend along as OH seriously hates shopping and gets really jumpy in shops. we can add to it online which will be fine!

kaz - poor you. sounds like a handful. although i work with young people i have no answers, just good wishes!

lil_me - take care babe. we're all with you.
