  • Hello everyone,

Rach - I hope you're feeling a bit better and your OH is being extra nice to you. Sometimes the little things just seem more frustrating than one big thing.

Lil_me - I hope you get the house situation sorted out somehow. I'm glad you feel you are able to take a bit of time about finding somewhere and are not taking the first place you find. I hope you manage to stay safe - and feel safe. OH is out till late tonight, so I'll be around later if you need some company. On a lighter note - how's young sonic doing?

Sexymouse - It sounds like you're doing the right thing giving up the pub. Hopefully the other temping work will keep coming in.

I'm quite proud of myself. I came home, unpacked my bag (including putting a bottle of wine in the fridge) and then the first thing I did was cleaned the kitchen floor (Don't give me a hard time Pigpen - I know it was on Monday's list, but Monday went right out of the window!) The only problem is I've now got to wait for it to dry until I can get to the wine in the fridge - bad planning!

    Catch you all later,
    7WW

Sonic doing well, stopping spiking as much which helps, lets me tickle his tummy aswell! He actually needs cleaning out which I will do when DSs in bed.

Thanks for the offer of company and the support, you really don’t know how much it means to me right now, don’t know might be able to get better sleep tonight as I feel shattered, I might try going to bed a bit earlier, DP will be at work until about 3.30am I think. CCTV isn't recording yet as nothing to record it on but hopefully will get something next week. Not been able to face much to eat with the stress so going to make myself something when the boys go to bed. I’m not feeling safe just yet but have no intention moving from the frying pan into the fire when it comes to a house, of course have help to call if things get out of hand. I’d rather put up with it than spend over £1000 in bond, advanced rent etc for somewhere I don’t want to be or will be worse.

Oh no I still need to make DS2s bed, I best go and get that done!

Rach - hugs - doesn't sound like you're having a good day, good luck talking your partner round
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Oh Rach, I know what you mean about Denby!

I used to sell the stuff and got a good staff discount on it too and bought a fair bit, but left it all behind when I left the realtionship I was in.
It really is very nice and great for every day use. Hope you can persuade your OH.

    7WW- enjoy that wine!
Solway- you sound like you're bursting with energy, enjoy your weekend
maralum- well done on what you got done in 25 mins!
tracyg- hello again, good to hear the move went ok abd you're all settling in
embb- congrats on a crossed off list.

Ok ironing didn't get done whilst DS was out playing, but I have sorted it into piles!

    Hope you have a safe evening/night lil_me.

    Take care all.

Back from Glyn Webb.. I have paint brushes.. and underbed storage boxes for the boys room.. so the toys can be 'hidden' and the books on top of the cupboard can go in the stacking box the toys are in now and the rubbish can go in the bin.. then I can attack the bedroom and make it beautiful once more!

My Saturday list is daunting, with all this so much has been left, my dining table is a pile of estate agents catalogues and notes about houses, oh there is some crickets under there somewhere too, I might try to get that cleared now actually, seeing as I'm sat in the middle of it :o

Have a look through next OU assignments due in a couple of weeks
[strike]Look through latest forms I need to fill in for DS1, always something isn't there [/strike]

  • Me again!

Well the wine is now opened and I've managed to perfect the art of cracking pistachio nuts one-handed whilst talking to my parents on the phone! Bless him - my 87 year-old dad has got his first (OU) exam since 19?? coming up in 4 weeks and he was asking me for revision tips!

Lil_me: Sounds like you are making good progress with Sonic - we need more photos! Well done on sounding so pragmatic about the horrible stress you're going through at the moment. I'll pop by at various points in the evening - so maybe I'll see you later. Hope you do get an early might though.I hope you've managed to eat something.

Talking of which - I'd better grab something to go with this wine.

    Cheers!

  • Got the kitchen, livingroom and bedroom into some sort of order and sorted my handbag out. Ooh, I know how to have a good time on a Friday night!
Just poured myself a V&T while I think about giving in to various invites to join up to Facebook. Not sure I could cope with another addictive site. Is it fun or a chore?

At 9pm sharp (no later, no earlier mind!) I'm going for a half hour challenge with myself before I flop for the evening if anyone wants to join me.

7WW your Dad is brave, blimey that must be strange after being out of 'education' for so long. Hope it goes well for him. My lasagne is defrosting now, oven doing it's magic ;) I love HM lasagne so thought was the best bet.

Solwaykid I think I might just join you on that challenge, hopefully the boys will be asleep by then (just gone to bed) and my dinner should be ready by 9.30pm........sad but true but I would rather do housework than be around the town with the drunks, boring aren't I. Oh and the flop afterwards definately sounds good.
