in 6 months we saved a massive £7000 just from selling what was in the house on ebay.. It CAN be done and it is a chore..

Oh my goodness PigPen, what an inspiration! I moved into my first bought property 6 months ago and as it's smaller than where I used to live, my mum packed all the boxes for me and I live away during the week I haven't tackled anything!!

I keep thinking maybe I should just charity shop it all, but I keep thinking I'll try and sell on ebay. You are such an inspiration, thanks :D

    He! He! thanks rach.

    Hi Mushy Peas

I've just stuck some toast in, so when I've finished that gonna peel the spuds for tea then tackle the ironing, only littleys stuff so wont take long, and if I'm STILL feeling energetic I'll hang it all up in her wardrobe in 'outfits' lol

THEN I might tackle the bathroom cause I didn't get round to it yesterday, and it will only take 5 minutes! not the 'hours' I have in my head.
  • Would love some lunch, but forgot the bread went out of date yesterday and so it'll just have to be a chocolate muffin with tea instead for now. :T

DS's room done and so very shortly I'll pop to the shops to do another couple of things of my list.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Hello everyone,

On my lunchbreak again, so just caught up with the thread again since last night.

Was really tired this morning when the alarm went off at 7, especially as OH has the day off and went back to sleep. I had to get up though, cos I didn't wash my hair last night, so had to do it this morning.

I phoned my sister last night to arrange car sharing down to my temp job next week in Whiteley as I'm just down the road from her, but I'll have to leave the house at 7.30  to pick her up at 7.45 as she has to be at work at 8.30 (I don't have to be at work til 9), and I'll have to wait for her at the end of the day too as she finishes at 5.30 and I finish at 5. Never mind, at least the cost of petrol will be shared.

Have decided to leave the pub, as I'm fed up with the way they treat me, and I feel that I can't trust anyone now cos of my wages being stolen. I'm going in on Sunday to pick up my wages from last week, and will tell them then. Can't wait! :T

Will fly around the bedroom tonight, as I didn't do it yesterday or on wednesday when it was meant to be done, but seeing as I don't have kids rooms or a spare room, I have an extra day to fly with. Plus I'm not working on Saturday anymore, so hopefully I'll be able to clean my car which I didn't have the energy to do last weekend.

Well, lunchbreak over in the time it has taken me to type this up, so had better go now.

    See you all later.

    sexymouse xx

    Hi folks! I'm back, remember me:o ?

All settled in the new house, can't believe how quickly we've got straight. I packed and decluttered at the same time so havent brought any junk with us so it was quite easy. Finally got the TV connected and internet came on last night so we feel like we're back in the real world. Move went totally ar*e up on friday - moving day! - we had to make a mad dash to solicitors in the middle of the day to sign papers and pay some cash in, two hour drive and then get back, load up van and move. Nightmare but we got in eventually. Really love the house, have a snagging list but it seems to be getting done by the builders but am really happy to be living here.

Really, really sad but am looking forward to getting back in my routine with flying and sorting DS into a proper rountine as I feel like the whole of August was on hold because of moving. Plus house is much bigger so need to keep on top of everything otherwise it'll be a nightmare.

Had a quick nosey through the posts and last weeks thread last night so have been keeping up. Hugs to all but espically Lil me and Elizzy, congratulations Michelle (will drop you a PM later) and thanks to AnW'smum for lovely PM - will reply later xx

DH has took DS off to his work to show him round and to DVLA to sort out number plate so I've the afternoon to myself. Having haircut in a minute so better go and get ready and pop into town xx

Dusty.. my youngest boys have competely lost it going back to school as well.. We had a right to-do last night with DS2 and DD2.. they were actually brawling something they have NEVER EVER done before and I will not tolerate.. they have hardly said a bad word to one another before and both just lost it.. so both were banished to bed with no jam tart.. hit 'em where it hurt.. in the food dept! They seemed ok again this morning but DS2 hated everyone, wanted us all dead, wished he had never been born (I said he wasn't he fell from a tree!) all the usual stuff!

Tiddles is going to banished to bed now and I'm having lunch.. I just had to write a furious email to my dons college course leader.. useless sh***-eep that they are!!!

Now I've properly finished my list :j

Hi Tracey  All the best for your new home, how exciting.

Friday - those frightning Friday kids rooms and spare rooms

    Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can get to
    Level Two
Anything that isn't in it's place where it should be, clothes, toys, books etc
    Level Three
    Dusting
Strip beds and replace with fresh linen half done - it's stripped! It's remade
Vacuum Floor (even if it's just where you can see)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List

As usual pick any one or more of the following if you fancy an extra challenge today and are still alive after entering the kids rooms!!
    • Dust tops of wardrobes & drawers if you can reach wthout hurting yourself
    • Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, aim for 27, if you can't find that many, well done, you are obviously making a difference More than 50
    • Sort through a kids wardrobe or drawer, part with what doesn't fit or well past it's used by
    • Clean any one (or more) window that needs doing
    My list:-
    WM x2
hang said washing out But I've ran out of pegs....on my shopping list.
    S&S kitchen
    Hoover through
    Prep tea
    Do dishes
    Do Ironing pile

:T First time my entire list has been crossed off for a long time. Got ironing to put away/tea to cook/washing to bring in/go to shops but that'll be done tonight when I'm offline.

Gonna celebrate with a bar of choccie and a Chris Rock stand-up DVD tonight. :j
