Morning everyone. Sorry laptop went off last night and I couldn't find the charger, DP was home not long after, thanks for the company, you lot are fab
Slept a bit better last night, came to conclusion of if they do anything that is what insurance is for. We were just too exhausted to stay up again. I left the living room light on all night.
When DP came home he said there was two men in the garden next door s he walked down the path, one said 'Is that him? by hell he's a big c*nt isn't he' my partner is 6ft4+ I think now, broad aswell, wonder if neighbour failed to mention that to his friends  DP said the men walked inside after that and said nothing elseStill trying to find out who these men are. DP has also been told at work if any probs 'phone a friend' as they called it, basically meaning call one lad at work and they'll bring the rest  last thing I want is WW3 on my door step, saying that it's reassuring tonight knowing if DP is out on a job somewhere and any hassle starts someone who is close by will come round.
I've done myself a list of things I need to know about the house we're going to look at inc measurements of rooms, windows etc, one downside is it's got a built in cooker from what they said and I've just bought one so no idea what I will do with that. I don't want to have to part with things I like (like my FF!) to move or have to buy new furniture etc. Booked to see it at 2pm so will be a bit of a dash back for the boys then will tell you about it tonight. We have to wait until next Saturday before deciding for definate anyway, DPs Dad comes home then and is helping with bond hopefully, just paid the deposit on the car so haven't got enough. Schools I am looking into today, DS1s is fine have contacted SEN people and they said will just rearrange transport to collect from there (same county) DS2 I need to look for now so that's on my list for today (senior school he'll get to the one I want him to be at if we take this house because it's in catchment area)
I'm annoyed about having to move but DP has never really liked it here and has wanted to move for ages, but we've both said we're not just going to take the first thing that comes up if it's not right for us. Not spoilt for choice as we have kids and pets,of over 100 lettings I looked at this is the only one in our price range accepting both!
Right, flying, boys room needs doing, need to do DS2s duvet aswell as his sheets so will start with that I think so I can get it dry. Then I will contact LEA about schools (and have a coffee while I am on, coffee/tea anyone?)One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

That's all i can think of for now but i'm sure i'll add to it .Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Vanilla.. if it helps any I know exactly what it is like!! until 2 years ago we had 10 people in a 3 bedroomed house with one tiny living room and it was cram packed with STUFF.. I couldn't even sort through it all because there was no room to sort it.. since we moved I have spent 2 years sorting through boxes and boxes of stuff, half of which I didn't even know we had!!! It was a nightmare honestly.. BUT it is getting there!! Gradually we have shifted everything vis charity shops, school/nursery, donated to friends in need and ebay'd a huge chunk of it.. in 6 months we saved a massive £7000 just from selling what was in the house on ebay.. It CAN be done and it is a chore.. but i just think of it as my 'job' and get on with it.. if we want the money I have to work and I can't afford to go out to work so I have to do what I can from inside the house!... Hence me spending £3000 for a new boiler to hopefully save us £75+ a month on our winter gas bills (they are working out about £150 more just for having the heating on!!!) Baby steps.. baby steps!!!! You won't get every room perfect the first week.. BUT in a month or 2 the difference will be massive.. and this is coming from me!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Good morning everyone Lovely day here :j DH is *working from home* today, though he's supposed to have a day off  I'm dragging him out later - we need to order some paving as I've booked our tame builder to lay them at the end of October, so the pressure's on. Won't be ready for this summer, but will be fab for next year :T
Cross this morning - ordered a cable for DD's camera, and it's arrived and doesn't fit, despite being labelled with the correct camera code. Think they'll refund me, but will probably expect me to pay for the postage - £5, so not a trivial sum (only cost them 70p  ).
Following the success of last week's fruit bread made by hand, I have a batch of olive and cheese on the go for lunch
So far today:
Book – ordered
Sort choir folder - done
Return keys to friend who’s house we were minding – done, and a nice box of chock received in return
Empty bins – done
Recycling bin – put out
Book builder – done; he’s due end of October
Lil me, hope everything's OK with you
Nicki - that's a lot of steps :T . Must dig my counter out again.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Thanks pigpen, i still haven't moved my bum yet, keep going into the bedroom and going
and walking back out
.
Babysteps is the way to go so i'm gonna go in and move everything that is on top of the wardrobe and window sil, then clear floor and bed. Then have a wee tea break.
So i'll be back on my tea break to report what i've done.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

have done some dailies today but we have got to go and pick ds2 up from activity week he's been on since tues and its an hrs drive there.picking him and 2 others up.
kids going to their dads this wkend so am going to get them to strip their beds before they go so i can get a head start on next weeks jobs as i can see with pigpen in charge and cracking the whip I'll have to buck my ideas up:rotfl:Lead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
Vanilla.. some find it useful to use a timer and do 15 or 30 mintue stretches in a bad room or if they are unmotivated!! It does help.. and wtach otu for our 30 minute challenges.. those ate good for getting us shifted too!!
Dare I go in DS1's room and clear that?? It needs a health hazard warning on it!!!
It just STINKS!!! and needs to be completely emptied by Thursday for the new boiler to be fitted!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
