  • Evening Everyone!

How long till Friday.....!!!! Been mental at school today - loads of new parents not sure where to go or what to do! Been smiling for so long my face has set into a grin a la airhostess! Even worse - our soccer coach (him with the cute smile and lovely legs) isn't coming back to school and the replacement doesn't sound nearly as flirty on the 'phone! (That's the problem with a primary school - no men to flirt with!!)
DD1 and DS had a great first day and DD2 has settled in well in 'big school' now she's in kindergarten. Apart from telling the class how her brother hits her with a stick! Fortunately her teacher taught DS and was able to dispel this rumour (but only after sharing the tale with the whole staff room!)
Been getting up 20 minutes earlier and managed to get us all in the car early today. Also, washing up to date and house still reasonably ok.
Right - best go and do DS reading book with him! See you later!

tinsel the pile is almost done :) I started to reorganise our wardrobes but found it more upsetting than I expected moving DH's clothes so everything came to a grinding halt. Then it was W's swimming lesson, picked up a few bits on the way home including some Grolsch (on offer 8 bottles for £5 ;) ) dinner and now about to get A & ready for bed.

Sounds like you had a great time shopping alone, I will be able to do that without clock watching from next week :D

evening peeps, sounds like you all have had productive days!

pigpen - well done clearing the loo paper IYSWIM LOL. And OMG on the shoe bvill, I thought ours of £48 was bad. Good on the ebay front though bu pity its pretty much swallowed up already

    Ollie - welcome and enjoy!

Pollybear - nice to see you back, I hate it when our PC/network/internet dies, I could live without telly easily but not the internet ....

nicki - well done with the walkoing - youve reminded me I must put my pedometer on when I start back to WW after baby when walking to school and back, thats gotta be a bonus point a day at least. Hope your BP settles down now kiddiwinks off to school. Not surprising its high with the whole thing with OH though I guess.

lil_me - ooo how exciting re the zafira! Cant wait to hear all about iot when you pick it up (and maybe I will even have had baby by then LOL). Glad DS1 getting on well at school :)

tinselfairy - what is this going shopping ON YOUR OWN of which you speak  I do not understand .........LOL

aaah our house is blissfully quiet and its only 7,30, all I can hear is the DW .....

Hubby out tonight and promised to put sprogs to bed before he went, as he was leaving at 7.30 (he's just gone) they were in bed early. Normally its 8pm but the extra half hour feels LOVELY. No complaints from them either and with school starting next week I am going to do this from now on.

So I have the evning, and the TV, to myself :D

Had a nice relaxing afternoon with a couple of friends and their kids here. All the kids played really nicely in the garden and we sat out with a cuppa and some biccies - lovely. Weird though, am now at stage where friends are saying "ooo next time I see you you'll have had the baby"   eek

We are going to Legoland tomorrow, DH taking day off work, so we can use our passes again on a quietish day now schools have gone back and before DS starts next week. Not sure if its a good idea, I will be whacked by the end but then its only one day til the weekend so hopefully I'll survive.

Am sure I will be on here loads tonight, no hubs to enquire as to what the h3ll I canpossibly be typing now LOL. Oh and on that note - he came home with a present for me - no not a bunch of flowers or a bar of dairy milk but a wireless optical mouse for my laptop. What a romantic :rotfl: but it is very sweet of him nonetheless and I will use it once I open the box ....

    Hi Peeps,

Well first day back at work was really strange. Felt like I knew nothing! As I hadnt got any outstanding projects had very little to do so had a real gas bag session with my best buddy at work catching up on all the gossip (boss is away this week :D ) Was very good and stuck to my GF diet today even tho I forgot to order a salad for lunch, so had crisps and bar of choc instead! Must take own salad tomorrow.

DD enjoyed first day back and likes new teacher who's wife of her last year teacher! Already done her homework. Got new reading book today and was told to read and write a report on it for next week. She's read all the book today 60 pages, and wrote "its about a witch and a dog and personally I think it should be for YR2 and under" - I did have to laugh.

DS finally got his results for the GCSE he took in YR10. He got an A which he was VERY pleased with and so was I. Even OH said well done but then followed it up with a snide remark about PE being a very useful subject .

    Evening all

    HopeElizzy hugs to you sweetie

Finding it tougher than I thought getting back into the school routine especially as all has changed with OH new job.

DS3 not happy to be back at school, not sleeping so we are both tired.

DS1 and DS2 both out at football and seem quite happy with school.

I thought I'd have more time to fly but not the case. Decided to do the bits I want to and can this week and then back to routine on Monday.

    Have a nice evening all

Thanks for asking Pigpen, same really very tired (it's after 4.15pm when he's been getting home and leaves just after 8am) a bit better today about it as yesterday he wanted to go back to his old school, because it's swimming tomorrow :D he's been looking forward to that and was so terribly annoyed he had to miss it on Monday as the school was closed. Just got to see how things go I suppose, change being an 'issue' to this little guys.

Anyway, I've done next to nothing, ended up going out to take DPs other car to park at a relatives for the week, we've got the taxi here all week as boss is on holiday and running out of space where to park. Went to pet shop to get some fish too.

Tomorrows list is up, will try to catch up properly when the little terrors have gone to bed.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hi everyone,

Just popping in briefly. Had a great holiday in France, and really relaxed. Unhappily, at the very end heard that my mother had had a stroke, and is very poorly indeed. So, I'm spending most afternoons driving to the hospital to be with her. It isn't too far from my brother and sister, but 90 minutes for me.

You'll understand that Flying doesn't much feature on my list of priorities right now. I'll probably pop in now and again for the friendliness!

    Take care all of you.

Sorry to hear your the news about your mum Serena, of course flying goes out the window but yes we are all here with a shoulder/cuppa (or a grolsch at the mo here!) any time. Glad you had a good holiday though, we always planned to take the kids to France one day and it is still very much on the list for the future. (((Hugs))) for you

[STRIKE]Clear kids beds so they can SLEEP in them. [/STRIKE]In bed now!
[STRIKE] Take DS1 to anchor boys
    Collect DS1 from anchor boys
Tidy away painting stuff and clean painting stuff
    Wash dishes[/STRIKE]
    MOP FLOOR, no wait,
    MOP FLOOR!!!!
    Varnish wardrobe
Sort the washing at the very least, hopefully iron some of it
Have a shower or bath, because lady, you STINK!

I need more coffee before I tackle the floor!

Gave my poor hands a wee treat while doing the dishes. They were all horrible after all that painting and washing up, and stardrops and water to mop up spills... so, found bio-oil, slathered some over my hands, hands in rubber gloves (had to make do, none of those latex gloves left) and washed dishes in hot water. Hands are now lovely and soft.

Now decided to have a bath as a treat after the rest of my flying, with honey and sea salt face mask/scrub, I'm covered in spots at the moment, not nice!
