UU (these things always come in a run, don't they?)

    13) & 14) two L'Or!al eyebrow pencils. Used to be my go to but I'm now using the L'Or!al eyebrow wax and powder, which I much prefer

    15) Liz Earle eyebright 50ml. Has been open for over a year and I had no idea what to do with it immediately, but I love how soothing it is on tired and itchy eyes, and perfect for getting rid of the last bits of eye makeup if the cleanse and polish didn't get it all. Not a need, but definitely a want, wba.

    16) Bobbi Brown luminous moisturising foundation in alabaster. This was bought years ago, when they had discontinued the skin foundation in alabaster. I never loved the texture and weight of this one, and it's always been a little bit too yellow for my skin colour. Replaced with lily lolo which I currently love and is less than half the price.

    17) my little beauty energising mist. Came in my little box 18 months ago, hate the smell (reminds of furniture Polish) and have no idea why I didn't throw it away before

    18) benefit high beam full size. The bottle annoys me as there is lots of wasted product, and the product itself frustrated me at times. Wmba if I go back to a liquid foundation

If you buy it I really hope that it helps :D I hope that you feel better soon.

It's 1/3rd off at Waitrose/John Lewis at the moment if that's any help. :)

Willowbee love your original post. I too like to rotate products to stop getting bored.

I ran Emma a bath last night with the Yorkshire Soap Company Peppermint Cream bath bomb in it. Sadly it did not stand up to more usage as it crumbled straight away but how delicious did the house smell afterwards! Reminded me of Yankee Candle Jack Frost so much. I really want to buy more of this once pay day comes back around.

I did buy the QVC TSV yesterday for Emma as I'm really trying to get her to tackle her spotty back and chest now that we have made inroads with her facial skin. Did seem like a genuine bargain, if it works. If it doesn't I do intend to invoke the 30 day money back guarantee.

Sold another item on the Bay yesterday but not beauty related - a DVD.

Finally I bought an Apple app called my beauty cache (how bored was I being at home) that I'm looking forward to playing with. In the hope really that I can have a better understanding of how long my products last.

Gonna go. We have busy day as we are travelling to Newcastle Uni for an open day.

roguey - I use Mac Fix+, it is very good and feels hydrating too. I apply all my makeup except mascara, spritz this on then do my mascara.

seasidedreamer - using up a Vaseline lip balm tin is quite an achievement. Have a lovely weekend away.

Willowbee - I'm the same, if I see a good deal I buy it thinking well at least I have it now. I would love to be able to buy things and start using them within a couple of weeks.

I have 2 UU/s to report before we scoot off :-

Avon Plabnet Spa Perfectly Purifying body butter WDBA. This was gorgeous in both fragrance and texture. Only down side was the packaging. Not a fan of Kilner jars however this is not enough to put me off repurchasing.

Smashbox brown ever sharp eyeliner. Opened it today and the nib had completely gone. Have an UD brown one to replace it.

VALM - my brother is at Newcastle uni, he absolutely loves it. :)

Right, got the superdrug bag in from car. Here's the damage :o
I did stock up on deodorants as they are mostly 90p at the moment. And got some face washes to try no my HG mouthwash. Also a conditioner because my shampoo stock far outweighs conditioner, but I have very thick long hair so I do get through a lot of conditioner.

    INS:

-Herbal essences nourish me butter conditioner (on offer and I already have the shampoo but not the conditioner to match it)
-Superdrug ltd edition pear drops conditioner (last one left, looked interesting and will go nicely with some Avon shampoo I have in stash)
-superdrug pro care sensitive mouthwash x 2 (HG item)
    - superdrug pro care whitening mouthwash
    - simple vital vitamin foaming cleanser
    -superdrug soft pink deodorant spray
-Sanex dermo pro hydrate deodorant spray x 4 (my HG and sadly discontinued but this superdrug still had stock left and it was on offer, had to restrain myself from buying every single one left. May still go back for more as I love it so much :o )
-dove soft feel compressed deodorant spray
    - superdrug sensitive deodorant spray
    - dove beauty finish roll on deodorant
    - dove soft feel roll on deodorant
    - sure radiant sunshine compressed deodorant spray
    - sure aloe Vera roll on deodorant
    - sure shower fresh compressed deodorant spray
    - dove go fresh grapefruit & lemongrass roll on deodorant
    - superdrug pore cleansing pads
    - superdrug tea tree pink grapefruit facial wash
    - superdrug refreshing foaming facial wash

    So that's err, 20 ins :o

On the bright side, I go through a lot of deodorant (i cycle and ride horses a lot) so they won't hang around for long!

Val - OH and I love the body wash, but sadly we are a few decades beyond needing it for spotty backs:eek::D I use it mostly in the summer after gardening and cycling and OH who cycles 3 or 4 days a week uses it all the time, it is great if we get bitten by small flying critters, as happens a lot in the garden and when out in the countryside with the dog. It smells really fresh (but we both love Tea Tree anyway), but the smell does not linger. I mostly spoil myself by following on with one of my girlie shower gels anyway:D, but I guess Emma will need to be very careful about perfume and irritants when she is having a flare up.

Hope the open day visit goes well and the travelling is trouble free.

I have a UU currently on as I'm getting ready to have my shower then go to work for the night.

Montagne jeunesse chocolate orange face mask- Wmba but this is the second one I've been disappointed with in the last 2 weeks, I'm starting to wonder if it's actually hold cold my house is affecting them in storage. This isn't an old one and some bits had hardened at the sides and the stuff left was really watery and liquidy. It's supposed to be self heating but i can't really feel any heat coming from it, which is disappointing. Does smell lovely though like a Terry's chocolate orange (and now I'm craving one!) you just have to pray no one comes to the door though as I do look like I've smeared my face with you know what.

    Eta: another UU just now.

Malin + goetz grapefruit facial cleanser mini- Wnba didn't like the smell. I was expecting it to be a lovely fruity citrusy grapefruit smell but it was a really odd sweet fragrance and I wasn't keen on it. Did the job ok but wouldn't spend money on it. It was a magazine freebie. Shame as I really rate their lip moisturizer.

    Hello everyone!

had my birthday money in off my mum and went in Debs and Selfridges and didn't spend a penny of it on make up! i realised i was spending for spendings sake and i really didn't need or even want anything. instead, i got a teapot I've wanted from whittards that was £6 reduced from £20, some posh earl grey that was half price and a tea infuser and strainer that I've also had my eye on for ages with money off too so the money was much more well spent! :)

now we're properly recycling in the house too, its making me realise just how much make up and toiletries packaging is wasteful. hardly any of it is in glass or aluminium that is easily recyclable and the plastic tubes and tubs are a minefield as to if any can go in recycling.

    UU:
Ren body scrub - WBA if part of a set but these are so easy to make theres no point paying for them otherwise!
Trilogy everything balm - HG but realised this was 6 years old  so quickly repurposed as shaving cream where it actually did a brilliant job!
    Elemis - mini hand cream
