Have done a few jobs (altered my list above) including phone call - don't know why but I still don't like contacting people to sort things out even though I was a PA for 12 years :D

I used to put them off as long as possible, but mostly I just get them over and done with now except for those related to paid stuff. I have no idea why I still procrastinate about those ones.

Good news on the boob front Mrs MP. *healing vibes* for the soreness.

I now have two large packs of white fondant icing left over

Have you tried Nadia from Bake Off's tip using marshmallows rather than buying it? I'd love to know how well you thought it compared.

I forgot to say, after nearly three days of dry windy weather I loaded myself up with a carrier bag on two dog walks yesterday and filled both of them with rubbish that has been really irritating me but had been just too soggy to collect. It all looks much better now. I also picked up a carrier bag of junk food (huge unopened bag of D0r!t0$, nearly full box of 1!ndt chox, half eaten bags of marshmallows and other assorted carp) from a bench overlooking the Sound and dropped that in a bin. I hope they weren't intending to come back for it, but it was eight o'clock in the morning so I rather think it was leftovers from a midnight feast. Happy days ....
    Better is good enough.

Must be a day for finding money pigpen, I found a fiver on the floor in reception at school as I was leaving. I handed mine in as hopefully the owner will be either a parent of staff member who realises they've lost it and goes back to ask.
Well done on your find, roadkill finds are never traceable so that def 'finders keepers' hope you are feeling lots better soon.

I'm only really sore coz the nurse had to jiggle the needle as she didn't hit the cyst first time.

Suns out here now so will take a chance on hanging some washing out.

    Mrs MP good news.
Getwell vibes for Pigpen and others.
1 fairy on the feeder this morning.
Managed Insanity and zumba at gym this morning, am I getting fitter and able to do more or am I just getting less fit that's why it is so tiring? Clearly the former has to be the right answer.

Dropped into Tesc0 on the way to uni and managed to change a top I bought in the sale last week and was miles too big. No it doesn't mean my weight has dropped so much; it is just the style. I managed to lose the receipt although had the label (and could name the cashier!) so they happily changed it for the next size which is still on the large side but ok. Got a card for my bereaved cousin and oops how did that C0sta get into my hand?

    Saw 1 student at uni.
Remembered to post letter on the way home.
Came home to an email from Mr N to say we are doing his special retirement/birthday holiday as they managed to find some more reasonable flights. He's ringing them back at 5pm to confirm but I'm now hopelessly over-excited.

WM on, done and about to hang up.
Friend rang to arrange lift to flower club later this eve.
Now need to email a student, start another report, check my mum's mother's day card as I was dubious about it and may need to buy another, cook dinner and go to flower club. Hm doesn't sound much like cleaning but it all needs to be done.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Hello all,

I learnt something new today - never knew about the whole washing machine filter thing (will be having a word with the mother for her slackness in my education :rotfl:)

Fianc! thinks I've developed some kind of OCD, two days in a row cleaning is seriously abnormal behaviour for me but I am determined to keep on top of things better!

    Have achieved:

Tripping Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Level Three
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!!
Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc

    Extras
    Wipe window sills

Well, I managed to do everything on my list today except the baseboard for the cake (had to wait until I had finished the drums that will separate the layers, which I *have* done) and transcribing. It's too late to start now - I'm going to take my :coffee: and watch TV for an hour. An early night might mean that I shall wake up early tomorrow!

Hope you are feeling better Pigpen and good news there Mrs Mp. Well done on the flying J.

Hospital went well (thanks all). GP rang about blood test results this morning which was reassuring. Have to increase iron tablets then wait and see what the consultant says later this month.

LR dusted and hoovered. Kitchen surfaces cleaned, yet more laundry dealt with and a bit of general tidying done. DH did taxi services to football training so that saved me from sitting in the car for an hour.

Hb I often pick up rubbish on my dog walks, must be an age thing because I never used to notice litter and now it really irritates me.

    Right, bedtime soon.
