OH has been back and forth to the loo all night.. he has been banished to school with the pinks and told not to come home without drugs lol.. I'm shattered!! I am starving this morning.. my hips hurt and I still have snot.. but I am going to see if I can brave washing my hair, its needed doing for days but I've felt too ill.
off to make some cuppas.. and I have 2 bunnies to make today.. a blue one and a grey one.. I made 2 purple yesterday.. Pixie demanded one while I was doing an order.. she is so cute.
Tiddles got the place at the high school with the rest of the beasties so that's her sorted..
Shocking turn of events... OH has applied for a job with the police.. I'm kind of in total shock.. Fingers crossed but it is a 3 year recruitment program so it might not be any time soon!
haha.. he is sat outside boots waiting for it to open.. they cant open until the pharmacist arrives.. he may be there a while!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Now need to [STRIKE]email a student[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]start another report[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]check my mum's mother's day card[/STRIKE] as I was dubious about it and may need to buy another, [STRIKE]cook dinner and go to flower club[/STRIKE]. Hm doesn't sound much like cleaning but it all needs to be done.
Glad all went ok Valli
Plan today is go to uni at 10, hopefully finish by 4.30; depends how the student's assessment goes.
Then home for last minute flying to make place reasonable for my Mum who arrives tomorrow afternoon - I'm doing assessment in the morning as her bus comes in at 3.20 fairly close to the uni. Mr N sorted Mum's room out and generally tidied while I was swanning around at flower club last night, bless him. The demonstrator was one of the best we've had, lots of ideas especially one for the Easter lilies in church which I seem to get landed with each year.
Make a cake ostensibly for mum tonight despite latest weigh-in showing 1lb loss so 9lb so far. Hadn't lost for 2 weeks so pleased with that.
Mum's card fine so don't need another. 2 letters to post on the way to uni today.
Would be nice to fit in a bit of exercise in anticipation of the cake....but not making any promises.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Been quite productive already today. Got a load in the WM which will soon be finished, my bed is made, shopping delivered and put away, dropped off big I**a bag at the CS, popped into estate agents re me house I'm selling and showed ID and taken Pip to the vets for her jabs. Now sat down with a cup of coffee before I put my headphones on and plug myself in for work!! Once that is done I'll get cleaning. Catch you later!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Not much obvious flying done today except I've put the dry dishes away and tidied all the dirty ones into one area. Instead I've spent the past 3-4 hours going through every email in my inbox/junk/auto-filed folders and either taking action where I can (I lost count of how many things I've unsubscribed from!), filing it in the appropriate folder or deleting it. I now have 6 emails instead of 500, 2 are relating to a purchase that I'm waiting for a refund for, 1 is a reminder that my library card has now expired (I just need to decide if its worth me renewing it as I've not been to the library for a long time), 1 a voucher code which can only be applied when checking out, 1 is a weekly horoscope email I receive each week, and finally one links to a blog post about going paperless which I really want to read and refer back to. My business involves a lot of paper which I can't cut back on so if I can cut down my home/personal paperwork then things will be a lot less cluttered in my office area! I'm not even attempting to go through all the other email folders though, that's definitely a job for another day!
I have also played with Zack. He had a fine time earlier in the garden catching bubbles and it was funny until I realised I couldn't feel my fingers as I was that coldCame in and played tug of war and fetch for a bit instead then all he wanted to do was snooze :rotfl:
Now I need to get my money together, write a list and get to Mr Al....or I might just go to Mr A. Depends on how busy Al isDebating whether to put on my coat or just my thick hoody and cap.... I'll see how cold it is when I let Zack out before I leave.
I will fly later! I have sewing repairs which need to be done tonight, and after DD has washed up I'll clean the kitchen. She's supposed to be doing her ironing as well, so I might throw some laundry in which will keep the kitchen warm. Right, best move! :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
All fine at hospital and more crossed off my list:
- Clear a mega hotspot! - once again there are things all over the bed in the study bedroom
[STRIKE]- Prepare for this evening's course[/STRIKE]
- Prepare for tomorrow evening's course which I'm running
[STRIKE]- Hospital clinic this afternoon
- On the way there, collect a piece of brass that DSiL has ordered from a foundry near us to save silly cost of postage (we're staying with DD for the wedding next weekend)[/STRIKE]
- Ice base board for wedding cake
- Transcribing
- Nag DH to phone his sister
- Out to my course this evening
...and after miserable weather all afternoon, the sun is now outI'm going to sit down with a :coffee: and might just snooze for half an hour or so, to make up for my early start!

I've played with my new toy, and it's great! So lovely and quiet - I suppose we'd just got used to the old one getting noisier and noisier. Oh - sorry, I should explain, my new WM was delivered yesterday. I'm now scouting round looking for washing to do. :rotfl: I suspect if Piggers lived nearby, she could provide me with a mountain of it. :rotfl:
Mr LW is on leave tomorrow, as I have to visit the GP (appointment booked in mid-January) so I may not get here tomorrow. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Where has the day gone?
Paid stuff done
Filled car with petrol
Shower room cleaned
Upstairs shower cleaned
LR hoovered.
Dinner now and then some governor paperwork, and not much else. No paid stuff tomorrow so hope to catch up a bit then. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
