 DH's horse piddle appointment took a total of 3 hours from home. Since I had found it necessary to stop transcribing early(it's a group interview, and very difficult to record accurately - when you can actually work out what each of the participants is saying when they all talk at once!), I still haven't got as far as I should have liked.
Not much else done....:(0 -

Mine is a bit of 'whatever' too
800-100g mince
grated courgette
bunch of grated carrots
handful or 2 of lentils
2 onions
splits into 2 lasagnes for 36cm le creuset roasting dishes..
I do grate stalks from cauliflower and broccoli in too if I have some in.. I hate wasting those. Sometimes I add mushrooms but not often.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all
Havent heard from Bossy this week, is she away? Did I miss something?
Hope little miss Dot is OK. Lots of bugs going around.
Nicki I did the Kon-Marie thing last year, it really works. Very addictive though.
I have been offered a second part time job completely out of the blue. The money would be good but I have to think about this in terms of my time and being home for DS1. Its doing something I really enjoy and I am quite tempted.
Whats everyone got planned for the weekend? I am catching up on some housework tomorrow and maybe watching DS play footie depending on the weather.0 -

I'm off to the land of nod. C-o-m-p-l-e-t-e-l-y exhausted. Back to having rubbish sleep again, so am totally knocking booze on the head, unless it's a special occasion. In January I slept like the dead and I was doing the dryathlon, which makes me think that alcohol is what's causing my disrupted nights. Had some really weird dreams lately too, some rather sinister, (not nice) and I think I'm finally running out of steam IRL. In-fact, my face does resemble a deflating balloon - careworn and wrinkled
VAN ARRIVED! Not sure if I mentioned it at all? :rotfl: Going for a drive tomorrow after DH finishes work at midday.0 -
Evening folks
Dizzy - hope you get a better night's sleep

Made dinner for DH later as he was late home again
WUDUPA and wiped bunkers in kitchen
It's our wedding anniversary today and we are out for a meal the morrow at a (new-to-us) Italian restaurant, so looking forward to that.
I am now officially allowed to get excited about going on holiday as we leave next Friday. Will have to make lists of things needed and things to pack else I know I'll forget something
Sending hugs, gws vibes, sticks and spoons to all needing some
Hope you all have a super Saturday and stay warm and dry

Morning all
Alcohol makes me sleep badly too Dizzy, oh and enjoy the van!
Happy anniversary Lynne. Its our 20th anniversary later this year. I am not normally one for big celebrations but I think this one should be marked in some way.
Not sure what today holds, sun is shining at the moment but footie has been cancelled due to no-one being able to find a pitch that isnt waterlogged! Everyone else is still in bed.0
