Waiting in a state of uber excitement for the arrival of my new van! I will at last be able to transport all the kids, skids and dogs around in comfort, without anyone moaning of elbows, dog noses, chocolate-coated hands, nasty smells (more often one of the men/boys...) or cramped legs. DH already has plans to map the engine and wants a spoiler and skirts to make it look like the A-Team van.
I've got to sweep up the drive and put back all the compost from the neighbour's borders that the escapee chickens dug out yesterday. Then a poo-patrol is in order
Small went in to school as Captain Hook this morning (their World Book Day was today rather than yesterday) and I was creative with the black eyeliner to give him a splendid moustache and goatee beard. Happy Small.
Cuppa time...phew, knackered already...0 -

My course went very well yesterday evening - more people there than on either of the previous weeks, and some excellent discussion.
Today's list (how many similarities to yesterday's can you spot?)

Morning
Hugs, sticks, spoons and get well soon vibes for all who want some.
I have paid stuff to do today but I think I'm going to get the sewing jobs out the way first so I can get the floors mopped as its the swiffer style microfibe heads that I'm modifying so they'll stay on! If I can just get one of them finished today without putting the eye end of the needle into my thumb again I'll be happy
DD is insisting that she'll do the ironing so that pile will have to wait until she's home tonight. I want to clean the brass and wash down the paintwork later if it stops snowing/raining. At this rate all my cleaning cloths will be back in the wash by the end of the day :rotfl:
I'm skipping the majority of the flinging jobs as I'm reading the KonMarie book and plan on going through the house that way when I've got to the end. I'm not one for clutter anyway, but I do have a habit of hanging on to things in case or knowing I can get rid of something as I'm not using it but not parting with it because I spent good money on it. Or in the case of some of my cookery books, I have every intention of using it but I just don't get round to it. Then stuff like I have a copy of 'The Complete Tightwad Gazette' I bought in 2011 and I've read about 2 pages of it and the first 8 books of The Vampire Diaries which I haven't read since DD broke her knee in 2012 and I grabbed the first 2 books to read in the hospital when she had to stay in overnight.

Bills paid like a dutiful little being.. still a few to catch up on but I'm getting there. in a very very slow manner! I could really do with a notepad to keep tally of them.. and I've lost my mortgage account login in when my laptop went crazy.. I should look for that letter I guess I just ring and ask for a reminder.. that will probablybe quicker but requires speaking to someone :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
