    I can think of no other reason why he would enter this thread, spamming it with irrelevant posts including childish insults, than he works for an insurer, but to be fair most of the other posts have been of the same calibre so you may have blundered on a point there.
    love all the great advice on how to roll over and just take it...it's a wonder man ever made it out of the caves :D


    Still no answer on the point of law tho...

  • I think Esure have been alright with him. After all he drove into a flood and some insurers would have said tough we're not paying. Instead they've paid market value for his vehicle, it's not their fault he over values it.

    OP - enjoy your day in court and come back to tell us how much it eventually costs you


    And to the rest of us let's continue insuring our cars as we do, reading the T&C's and not expecting a direct like for like replacement unless we've specifically paid for it and it's written into the policy rather than clutching at straws afterwards

    now if only you were able to read, you might know by now I read all the T&Cs I was supplied with no mention of valuation method there...
