Because if you were a regular user you'd know the rules about guest access perhaps.

Or maybe because you seem to be viewing lounge access as a big deal -which to most regular business travellers it isn't.

I'm of the view that no BA Heathrow lounge is worth causing problems with a work colleague as that can impact for a long time (for some time in what is a mediocre lounge at best)-however if you are arriving at the airport separately (it's not clear if you are both on the same connecting flight to LHR or not) and travelling in different classes there's no need to make arrangements to meet whilst at Heathrow anyway . Meet in customs on arrival at destination instead.

With a fairly short connecting time there's always the possibility you won't have time for the lounge anyway.

Shower - yes
Massage probably not - You can't book in advance so you'd go on a list -and it can take several hours to get to the top of the list by which time your flight may be long gone - so definitely a bonus rather than something to be relied on without status.
