BA lounge dilemma

Myself and a colleague with travelling for work next weekend, our travel is booked by an external agent. He has been booked out in WT+ whereas I have been booked out in Club, both returning in Club on separate flights.
I'm just short of silver so I can't guest him into the lounge, we have 2.5 hours at LHR before our flight.
Would you use the lounge and ditch your colleague?

Depends if you want to remain friends with your colleague.0

Only you can resolve your own moral dilemma. Personally I wouldn't leave a colleague alone just to use the lounge, you may be different (you're obviously considering it or you wouldn't be posting).
An alternative possibility is for your colleague (or you on their behalf) to try the lounge guesting thread over in the BAEC forum on FlyerTalk. There may be people offering guesting at that date /time, it's also possible to post requests. Just bear in mind that offers posted still remain at the discretion of the person offering, if you have never posted on Flyertalk before, some members may choose not to guest, as is their right.0 -
No, I wouldn't even think about it.0

Not even if all they plan to do is sit on a seat and watch Netflix on their tablet?Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face - Mike Tyson0 -
Can you pay for them to use the same lounge?
I second the suggestion to get over to the flyertalk forum and find someone to guest your friend in.0 -
If they aren't bothered about it then just go to the lounge alone.0

Maybe they can accompany you as a guest for £40-odd? As you'll be in different check-in queues, you may even go through separate security channels, etc., I'd say goodbye at check-in saying 'might catch you on the other side', then go to the lounge. You may not even have to see them at the gate if you're lucky ;-)0

If you're travelling in club you can guest him anyway, regardless of BA status. (although it might depend if you are travelling club Europe or club world. club world definitely as I have done it, not so sure for club Europe)0

Club World does not entitle you to guest someone into a lounge unless you have status.
You cannot pay to use the BA lounges (although there are some pretty longwinded ways around it).
Ask your colleague what they want to do OP. If they do want your company you could go to Plane Food or another restaurant? They may be quite happy to find a quiet corner and sit on their own.0
