Talk Talk: no emails until the 22 Feb they informed us and still no emails.

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing problems with you email.
No other users address book information was available to you - this was investigated by the email team. The address books contents were not visible to other users.

Thank you Emma for that reply and I note you have made some correction in your programming because the address books titled 'p m clagan' and 'mark green', have now disappeared.
However my address book is still empty. I have no Contacts since the changes to your website!
Regarding contacting you to report the problem. On the Information Bar, it says Preferences / Toggle / Problem / Help. If I click on Problem it takes me to a Problem Report Page. I have now sent you three problem reports filled in with a clear description, but it seems you do not act on it or even offer a reply.
Its interesting that I got an immediate response by going onto this very public website. Anyway thanks again Emma for replying.0 -

Ten months since TalkTalk changed their Onetel email server and its still throwing up faults.
TalkTalk don't like bad publicity so get you to register with their community to report faults. I have registered and jumped through all their hoops but...
Ten months later and they have still lost my address book. I have no contacts since the changes
As from 6 April 17 I can receive emails but can't send emails. It returns a message box

When will TalkTalk fix their faults?0 -
If you can actually manage to get hold of someone at TalkTalk then ask them to comply with section 22.1 (b)(ii). If enough of their customers did it then they would soon get it fixed.
For reference section 22 is all about your legal rights, (ii) is specifically if they don't provide services with reasonable skill and care (no laughing at the back!) then you have some rights to a reduction in your bill.0 -
Thanks Bullish about our legal rights. My Onetel account gave up the ghost over a week ago, and last year it was my Tiscali email that stopped after they were hacked.This time they say they are looking into my Onetel account, but when I ring again, they say they are still looking into it. I can receive emails but not send them and I can't delete any at all.
In the past I tried asking on their forum but to no avail. I think they regard us as natural wastage on their forum and here, but they will deny this, and once again recommend you do this that and the other on their forum, but do nothing themselves on here, other than swanning off. I don't know why MSE even gives TalkTalk Company Representative the time of day on here, as they didn't even have the courtesy to answer my above contribution (# 30) on here last year and I'm sure they will do nothing on here to resolve my present Onetel problem without referring to their forum again - I will be surprised if this post is not removed.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. I haven't been able to send emails for 5 days now when I log on through 'Horde'. just spent ages with talk talk getting nowhere. it seems that they maybe closing down all 'orphaned' accounts, we were orphaned with onetel so talk talk don't want to know! I just wish they would come clean tell us what is happening so that we can get on with our lives, & get all our info transferred to another provider before it is all lost again.0

I can send my Onetel emails via my Evolution emailer but not receive any. And as I said in my post above, I can receive emails via the Onetel website but can't send or delete any.They must be hoping we will go away.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Excuse me but why aren't you chasing up the people who manage Onetel for TalkTalk?. Talk Talk by the sound of it have farmed the running of them out because of some of the repetitive questions they ask before they hand you on to somebody else, hoping you'll go away I'm sure, even though I gave them my phone number which they haven't rung me back on over this. Before TalkTalk bought the whole shooting match things were followed up, so please don't give me any third party answers as Talk Talk still own them. Also, us customers shouldn't have to chase these people up on your forums, who may or may not be there. You know there's a problem with the Onetel servers, as it should register on them as it registers on my Onetel email about Onetel's server failure. Why have you got such a bunch of slackers. And please don't use acronyms use their titles so others on here can follow you. I repair my own computers so it shouldn't be that hard for those in the Onetel back office to sought things out, so why don't you this time get on to them yourself directly, as they don't listen to us?
Stop press. They are now after all this time allowing me to send and receive by Onetel( fingers crossed that it won't collapse again), but they still won't let me delete emails and the backlog is building up,doh! Also, they still won't send any emails to my desktop emailer Evolution, though it will allow me to send emails out,doh!. So it still applies that you now get onto them directly over this issue about Onetel's servers, as your forum is rubbish from my experience,and how you expect ordinary folks who are unable to understand computers and forum jargon beats me. But as you visited after I posted the post above, you obviously don't want to get your hands dirty by talking to Onetel direct about their server failures.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there.
