    *yawn* crawls back in...

    We're home. He's grumpy, tired, feeling sick, still in pain, bad tempered, thirsty....but glad to be home. I'm secretly wishing they'd kept him in overnight.

    Junk food dinner on the way home and small people flung into bed when we landed. What a day! Doctors have given him a prescription for a dilating drug (to ease the passing :eek:) and have suggested tiddling through a fine sieve to catch the stone for analysis. Lovely.

    Mumof2 - sorry to hear your news. Like others have said, I think it's clear you've tried your best and staying together for the kids is never a good idea as it affects everyone negatively. Gather up your precious things and take some time out. Cornwall could be just the place to recover.

    LW - hope your back is a bit better tomorrow - don't overdo things.

    My sister-in-law's hair grew back silver and curly too, after her chemotherapy CY and it is really beautiful. Grey is this season's must have colour ;) Failing that, Pigpen's hat is just adorable!

    Sorry for your loss Bongle. Sad times :(

    Hugs, sticks and spoons where needed xxx

    Mumof2 - Huge hugs. You have to do what's right for you and your children.
    CY - Nuking vibes heading your way xx

    Not much flying happening here. Did my work stuff, went to Mr A and it took ages for me to find some jeans but I managed to find 2 pairs, then got stuck behind slow people at the till, went across to Mr Al which was full of people who were standing in the middle of the aisles or abandoning their trolleys in the middle of the aisle in such a way you couldn't get past, got to the till and it broke so had to wait for someone more senior to come and fix it as she'd already started putting my shopping through! Got home and started on the laundry. Apart from deleting stuff on the dvr thats it! DD has done some ironing though, mainly her school stuff and a t-shirt she wants for tomorrow. ;) Ex also text and asked if DD wants to spend the weekend at his, we have nothing on so she's off there on Friday until Sunday so she can see family and celebrate her stepmums birthday with them all :D That'll be me nagging her to get all her homework done then this week ;)

    {snipped the list}

    Tomorrow is errands around town and a few supermarkets. Going to go sort out this TD load that just finished and head to bed I think. :wave:
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Many thanks everyone for all the hugs and support offered; it is appreciated more than you'll every know. Was awake at 4.00 this morning and not slept since - gave up at 5.15 and lay on the sofa with Whiz whippet and of course he was more than happy to snuggle in. Then I decided to start a diary about what's been going on - I have password protected it; Dad's been telling me to do this for ages but I had my rose coloured spectacles on and thought it would all be OK. It clearly isn't so I've started it.

    Today I have to go to my old house at 10 as it's being valued by a very good estate agent who comes highly recommended from loads of people and do a few jobs whilst I'm there. Got my first session with a Christian counsellor (my pastor's wife) at lunch time about me feeling better about myself and at 1.50 S's parent consultation. Z is bringing a friend back to work on homework together tonight. Oh, and being sent a dictation tape as a test to see how I get on with it too so may pick up some more work - fingers crossed as I'm going to need all the money I can get.

    Big hugs to everyone in need of one and really pleased to hear your news LameWolf x
