Gilly1964 just do a teeny bit, go easy on yourself. My house too looks horrendous - but it will be a bit better by the end of the day.
Just done some 'life admin' as I say, booking things, sending some emails. Shower soon!

    Morning all.

Awake until gone 2am, awake at 5.50 then up at 6.25 after dozing...yes today is going to be fun(!)

I'm showered, my bed is stripped & remade, [STRIKE]WM on with a load that I need yesterday[/STRIKE] make that the TD is on with a load :o Being down to 2 pairs of jeans I can wear is not good. I may have to cave and buy some. I tried Mr A the other day and they had none in my size unless I wanted jeggings and I wouldn't wish seeing me in jeggings on my worst enemy :o:rotfl: On the plus side I've just checked and can get to the huge Mr A on the day pass I usually get so that's good. I might do that Wednesday or Friday if I don't get there today.

Plan this morning is to sort out my shopping list for Mr A and see where if anywhere is cheaper. I'm hitting Mr Al (walking probably after school), Mr T & Mr S, maybe Mr M as well depending on how buses are today. Each journey I want to take is about 30 minutes according to the timetables but I need to wait until my phone is 100% charged as my bus pass will be on that. I haven't had a travel day like this for a while so it'll be a nice change. Well I best get moving or I'll never get all my jobs done.

YAY SCHOOL!!! Dot was screeching she didn't want to go, wouldn't get dressed, wouldnt wash her face, wouldn't get her hair brushed etc etc.. which is precising why she IS going lol

Pixie has her hair done differently so it is all up in a ponytail and she is so very much like Dot!! She came in my bed this morning with her cheeky grin and I had to look twice to see who it was!!

I need to get on top of the grotty kitchen today and dye some wool.. I might get it in to soak actually instead of sitting here like a potato!!

Arrrggghhh! DH taken in an ambulance to hospital this morning. Another case of suspected kidney stones. So, juggling Small back to school, arranging school lunches for him this week, taking Girl Pup back to the vets as her foot isn't healing very well, getting DH's work colleagues to collect the van from our house......breathe....

I think I must have been a truly horrid person in a former life.

Big hugs and get well soon to Mr DizzyImp and lots of sticks thrown at the outbreak of BD everywhere.

I'm impressed with my start so far:
Manic Monday - Kitchen Dining room is ok or ok enough as other things are priority
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clean floors[/STRIKE],
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE] Even put granite polish stuff on them
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Clean the INSIDE of the microwave... don’t forget the ceiling!!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and [STRIKE]fronts of appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]15 minute fling and tidy in that junk drawer in the kitchen.. get rid of all that stuff you put in there for ‘later’ .. mind those prehistoric mousetraps!! [/STRIKE]Not a drawer but 2 handbags which were sitting on a worktop. All emptied. Threw away receipts, tissues, train tickets, a programme from a Christmas concert, put discount vouchers where I will remember them and emptied out the grot at the bottom of the bags.
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
[STRIKE]Wipe window sills [/STRIKE]and clean windows in these rooms Just did 1 window sill as too many plants on the other (pathetic excuse)
Wash the washer drawer out if it is icky, check filters too!!
30 minutes ironing!!! I KNOW you’ll love me for that one!I wouldn't dream of depriving Mr N of the ironing, he always does it as he says it makes him feel less guilty about watching TV
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week H, aga lookalike burns most things off all by itself

That's going to be it for the while as I have work to do. However I think it deserves logging a half hour housework on MFP as I got jolly hot with all that polishing and rubbing.

Have sent a few work emails.
Gradually getting all my old report paperwork in binders then magazine boxes (6 filled so far). That will free up a large space on the study floor as they are currently in a huge plastic box. We have to keep the 'evidence' for 6 yrs.
Going to make a :coffee:, put breakfast and cleaning on MFP then get cracking with reports. But must ring about car insurance.

Friends with lovely whippet staying again this eve but have thoughtfully said they would have a pub meal before coming round as they know we usually go to Body Pump on a Mon eve and we missed it last week.

Dizzy - Hope OH is okay

Change of plans here. I'm going to run errands tomorrow as DD is out at a club until 6.30pm so I have longer to run around ;) Just changed my Mr A delivery to Wednesday and I'll pop down to Mr Al today to pick up a couple of bits I was getting from there, but first over to Mr A to look for jeans & pick up 2 tins of dog food to tide us over until Wednesday. ;) Today I'll do laundry and cleaning instead.

    Thu: Collect books
Fri: Errands on foot (weather permitting)

Meal plan for rest of month (list of meals)
Stuff to charity shop / mum / sister
New Cold Callers sign for the door.
Demould hall (incl front door), livingroom, kitchen :(
Wash my quilt, DD's quilt, pillows
    Iron blinds
Chase DD to clean her shoes with polish not just quickshine

    Work:
Contact new customer email (if I can get it working) or text.

[STRIKE]But must ring about car insurance.[/STRIKE]Got them to knock off £50 as I did a comparison (got paid £2 for that!). Really what is the point of having to register a password etc with the comparison sites if the insurance companies can just say "I'll just look up your quote; oh yes there it is" without me telling them anything!!!

Ooh as I typed that a large bird swooped past my window, scattering the 4 goldfinches and 2 blue tits that were on the feeder. We are regularly seeing kites in our area now, and it was definitely big and predatory but moved too fast for me to identify it. Do get sparrowhawks as well but got the impression this was bigger. Right, back to work.
