So sorry I haven't read fred at all but just wanted to let you all know that I think it is on the cards that me and J are going to split up. Had a horrific weekend; I told him I don't think we should be together any more and all very upsetting. He pointed to the kids and said we have 2 very good reasons why we should be and working through our difficulties but to be honest I've done absolutely all I can - he simply can't or won't change. Been on the phone to my parents who have been so supportive and I think probably at some point I'm going to end up taking my children and kids down to Cornwall and living with them until I can get a little house. Very very upset, loads of tears and I go from being strong to falling apart.

So sorry to hear this, but you have done all you can and you need to do what is best for yourself and your children. It's all very well him pointing at the children as a reason to stay together, but you have a value too! I had divorced parents (when I was 5) and have not turned into a delinquent or wreck. So glad you have family who will support you at this time. Lots of hugs from all of us.

Mumof2.. at least if that does happen you can say you tried.. you cannot stay together for the children and if those are the only 2 reasons he can think of then it is probably the right decision.. what about you? Does he not want to stay with you because he loves you?? sending you a poke in the eye for him xx

He says he loves me and that he'll never leave me - he's always said that. Thing is I think we're too far apart on too many things and our differences are really showing up since he's been away working; that's when I realised that I am actually a strong person and can cope with things.

Mumof2, so sad for you, what a hard time for you. Go easy on yourself, if you need a good cry then why not. Take care.
