Just got back from having my house valued; estate agent was really nice and friendly so that helped - I feel sad I'm selling it but it's just not big enough for me and the kids plus I'm going to need a lot of support if things do go ahead the way it's looking.
The house is no longer helpful to you, so best to allow someone else to have the benefit from it. That's how I looked at it when I disposed of a whole load of stuff from my former life when I first moved in here.:o
I hope your counselling goes well. Oh, and a cuddle for Whiz, too. Does Pip do cuddles?DS3 VACUUMED!!!!
*faints*
Seriously though, I hope he's feeling a bit better in himself since the 'orrible PIP stuff is now sorted. I feel a bit of an affinity for him, because we both had our [STRIKE]interrogations[/STRIKE] assessments on the same day.:o
I've thrown a duster around the place today, and done yet another WM load of Mr LW's clothes. Hopefully he won't be getting through quite so much once he finishes work - at present he has a clean shirt every day for the office, and changes to a t-shirt in the evenings. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Just catching up to calm myself down after fuming over a travel site on t'internet. Yes I know I'm lucky to be able to afford a holiday. Over the last 3 days I've racked up 6 bookings for us as the site won't display the page where you pay a deposit. All through TCB as I'm determined to get the cashback as it's a costly trip. Have emailed travel company twice, spoken to 2 different staff, tried 2 different browsers, added aforementioned site to the "safe site" as the security certificate was coming up invalid, rung/emailed Mr N several times..........I deserve this holiday just for the hassle of booking it! Now it seems the direct flights aren't showing up, and others a) cost more and b) have other stops, some in places or with airlines I don't fancy.
Anyway, apart from my luxuries (serve me right), I have:
been to 2 classes at gym
tidied kitchen
seen 1 student
caught up on other emails
and am now about to finish a report.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Just checking in quickly, struggling with time again this week. Hugs to Mumof2 (at least you did your best) and Dizzy. Motivation has disappeared and it seems I am on taxi duty tonight then going to a meeting so nothing much achieved here. Might just flick the duster around our bedroom so that I can say I have done something!0

Afternoon all
Great to see you had an ok time CY - plenty of R & R for you eh
Pleased the estate agent a good one Mumof2 and hope it sells quickly and painlessly for you, as that will one thing out of the way. It sounds a good idea to start a diary and hope the church counsellor is helpful.
How frustrating Narco. I had some hassle a couple of weeks ago trying to book some flights for September. I eventually had a look at BA site and saved myself nearly a £100 against the cheap sites :j
I have a bit of an infection in one of my ears where it is pierced. I have removed the ear-ring and washed it and my ear in brandy. Anyone have any better ideas ??
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Clean the INSIDE of the microwave... don’t forget the ceiling!!!
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
Twinkly Tuesday ~ the boudoir
Strip, wash and replace bedding..
Do something you enjoy for at least half an hour!! Eating/drinking/chasing loose women do not count!!
Just forced myself to do the HH enjoy and had a lovely, long soak in a bubble bath, followed by loads of lotion and total clean clothes.
Delivery from Mr T just arrived so off to scan that and put away. Then it's time to get some food sorted I 'pose.
Back later

Re booking, that's why I was so irritated; Topcashback is currently offering just £5 off if you book by phone and 5.25% if you complete on line - it's a considerable saving as is is an 'adventure' type package which we couldn't organise on our own; in fact the thought of the discount sort of swung the balance in the shall-we shan't-we.
How about TCP or similar for your ear?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Non reaction vibes for CY
Hugs for all in need.
Back when kids had theirs pierced surgical spirit was the bather cleaner recommended, not sure if this is still so.
Back from brace fitting, it looked OK and fpvastly improved the way mil moves but she wasn't happy with it, she said it looks ugly so will have to wear trousers all the time now. She wears them 90% of the time anyway. Plus the brace won't fit in her nice shoes - her feet don't fit in her nice shoes that's why she stopped wearing them years ago.
I've told her to ring me if she struggles to take it off tonight or get it on tomorrow so I can go and help.SPC~12 ot 124

Of course she's not happy.. next it will be chafing, hurting, uncomfortable until she realises and accepts it does help. If she can get her feet in her nice shoes without it then she can wear them for short periods.. that is the compromise.. they do turn into giant toddlers when they get older, i'm certain it is all about trying to retain some control over their life when everything else is controlled by others or their health.. it must be hard to relinquish that independance and admit youre not as able as you once were.

I understand what you are saying and totally agree, I just feel like I get used as the whipping post sometimes however hard I try.
I'm going to try and find her some outrageous trainers she will like in a non old lady style if I take the inner out of them the brace should fit ok.
If it was Friday or weekend I'd be slinking off to find sherry or wine right now, instead I will knitSPC~12 ot 124
