Do they really??? So for a transaction of less than a fiver I've got no chance??

Am I going to end up having to pay this? :(

No of course not. You have already been told how not to pay.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

  • ALDI seem to be able to ride roughshod over customer opinion. Take a look at their "visitors posts" on their facebook page.

Concentrate on winning your appeal by following the advice on here.

In future, spend your hard earned in a supermarket that dwserves your money, dosn"t sell onions that go brown in a day, and doesn"t block their fire exits.

I will not shop in Aldi, did once, a complete put off.
Mainly though is because they use Parking Eye and clearly they get a cut of the ticket charge which makes them the most expensive supermarket along with Lidl

As said before, the big 4 supermarkets should kick out the parking companies and they will see profits increase

These in-store registration schemes are ridiculous. I came across one in Aldi/Bolton last year. Called in passing for a few items, parked correctly, spent about 10 minutes in the store and was just about to leave when my daughter asked what they were. I had totally missed them as they were placed where customers can 'bag' their goods. I then had to think what my reg.no. was and insert it correctly. If i had been alone then I would have been in the same position as the OP.

It's not the best solution for parking and i'm sure they 'catch' more customers than fly parkers :(

I am certain Aldi know they are scamming customers. It's a numbers game, and what they lose on selling cheap vegetables etc etc, they make up with commission from parking tickets

Easy answer .... Don't shop at Aldi

    Good evening everyone.

I've now received a response from Parking Eye saying my recent appeal has been unsuccessful because I havent provided sufficient evidence to show I didnt break the T&C's etc etc

So i'm now at the POPLA stage. I have found a thread on here with a POPLA appeal from another member for the exact same carpark. I'll make some notes and write my appeal up and then post on here if someone would be so kind as to double check it for me before i send it?

    Thanks in advance! :)

Yep, nothing from 2015 is useable. Look at only recent POPLA appeal wording even if not about ParkingEye.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Ok I will do, thank you both x
    :p:o:A:o:p
  • I've had a quick read through the links of threads of previous appeals and am totally at a loss to what I should be putting now :(

I'll have another read tomorrow and see if i can figure it out x
