We have been told by X that because it's powder coated - it cannot be painted.0

Hi
Sorry for confusion. The frame is made out of aluminium and spray in the colour of your choice. The frame is against the wall and supported by two posts at the other end. The top is tinted glass. You can also have sides and doors which we did'nt go for as that would be another £17000.00. So glad we did'nt go for that.
We noticed there was a leak week before last. In the middle of the patio there was a wet patch and on the aluminium slate on the roof there were droplets of water. X have taken a look at the leak and says it is condensation. Is that right? it does have 10 year guarantee and no they did'nt try to sell extended warranty.
Regarding colour. No I have not changed my mind regarding the colour I wanted. I wanted the colour to match my patio which is sandstone yellow. The colour I chose is sandstone yellow. The colour on the glass roof is Mustard yellow. I don't think the samples gives a true reflection of the shades in colour. So with hindsight I should have gone for Ivory which would have been a better match on my sandstone patio.
Are you saying they have supplied the wrong colour or in your opinion the sandstone yellow is not how you thought it would be?0 -

.. It's looking very much like you've asked them for a refund then decided to add on another complaint..afterwards..
It's usually best to try sort out any issues before leaving a negative review..because after that it might just look like sour grapes..
The words " cheap and tacky" aren't really going to help your case..0 -
No I am not saying they have supplied the wrong colour.
And yes I am saying that the colour I thought I chose is not the colour that is on the glass roof.
If you were given four or five samples of different shades of beige to chose from. You would (any reasonable/sensible person) take them outside to your patio and chose the one that matched your patio, and when the wording says sandstone yellow which is what our slabs are - you would be convinced that you have chosen the right colour.......0 -
Hi, sorry no I did not ask for a refund initially, The complaint was made at the first instant. Thanks0

No, I wouldn't be convinced..sandstone is a natural product that comes in many variations , and yellow means yellow , not beige.0 -

No, I would not assume that sandstone yellow would be an exact match to your slabs, I would look at the actual colour and not the name. In situations like this it can be better to go for a contrasting colour as you are rarely going to get an exact match.
They have provided you with the colour you chose. I fail to see your grounds for complaint.0 -
