Spending his money, eh?
it took me ages to figure out what you meant by this pollypenny  - I guess things really have moved on!0 -
I hate it when people say 'learn' when they mean 'teach'. Really irritates me!0

Lots that have already been mentioned!
Top of the list - Brought instead of bought.
"I could care less" instead of "I couldn't care less".
Bae. It took me months to figure out what this even meant. At one point I wondered if it was an ancient Gaelic word.
Lush. I just hate the word.
Hun. And hon. And huni.
Tea instead of dinner. As a Northern native I am somewhat in the minority. To me tea is a beverage or a cream tea, afternoon tea or high tea.
Combination of a number of the above which really annoys me;
"OMG Hun, Bae made me the most lush tea!"

I've never encountered this BAE thing until now! Often use BBL (be back later) or BIAB (back in a bit) when chatting online though.
A couple of words that grate on my nerves for no apparent reason are "struggling" and "stuck". Mainly because the context they are frequently used in is for situations where the individual is neither struggling nor stuck, in the true sense of the words.
So many people are reportedly "struggling on benefits" - well they must be doing something wrong then!I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

'Obviously' and 'You Know' 'Innit' ..... :mad:0

I'm afraid that mine is "passed away" (or "...over") and I don't like "lost" in this context either.
The only trouble is that I would hate to upset someone who IS offended by the simple, straightforward word "died"0 -
Saying would of when it should be would have. Hate that.0

Lots of mine already said but also to add, people saying done instead of did and seen instead of saw. Person I sit next to at work talks like this as well as replacing a 'th' with 'f' in any word which is really annoying.
Oh and I'm breakfast, lunch and tea0 -

I have had to stop myself several times from replying "That was careless of you" when someone said "I lost my husband" or wife or other family memberIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
