oh dear, its the infamous MY FINDINGS template reply that they dug out of their old windows xp desktop before they binned it0

When those on here advise you to ignore in Scotland, they really really mean it.
The more you contact them, the more you encourage them, and not only that, risk dropping the driver in it.
They can only pursue the driver, and even then, only if they know who that is.
And you phoned them as well !!!!! :O
You really are asking for trouble.
Now, ignore everything from them except genuine court papers, if you get them. The likes of Coupon Mad really know their stuff and if they are giving you advice, for heavens sake take heed of it.0 -

Canoe Paddler. Why ask for advice if you are just going to ignore it?
At least one of the posters that replied to you has spent hundreds of hours of her own time writing the NEWBIES thread. She is the foremost expert on private parking issues in the country so why won't you take her advice?
By sending your long letter you have prolonged the agony.
Please just STOP, and ignore from now on.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Ok I've finally got the message I will not respond contact or do anything with any of the companies,
I am a little thick headed at times and have a stupid want to sort things out
I now have the message IGNORE Them
sorry and a massive thanks to all0 -
Just to be clear. They can pursue the keeper, but they then have to show in court that the keeper was driving as well as proving the contravention arose.
Keep a watch out for any court papers and be sure to respond or the PPC can win a default decision.0 -
Just to prove you can teach an old dog (me) new tricks another DRP letter arrived this morning. Usual if you don't pay by then were off to court " so took the following actions
I folded it in half and put it in the back of my work diary with all the other letters,
then I went back to my DIY
whilst painting a door I though of something I read in the Newbie thread so have just reread it and I think I'll fire of a quick letter to the hospital trust,
Mrs busy stressed social worker, on duty, rushing to ensure clients not bed blocking now being harassed by this evil PPC type thing.0 -
Good - complaints are needed even if they seem to have no effect and are batted away by the Trust. If enough people complain it gets noticed in the long run, even if just at renewal (or binning) of contract stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't know why this has wound me up so much,
Don't worry I am still ignoring anything from them,
but I have written to the land owner, and lodged a complaint with the BPA
Using the basis of
1 the driver was told the PCN was cancelled now they are claim we owe them,
2 over 70 days between incident and NTK letter
3 Sent to Debt collectors after appeal had been launched but before it was heard,
there were some more points but those were the main ones0
