I am trying orange peel as i have moved into a house that had a dog, surrounded by cats and no other gardens with mud! I have been planting veg and they have been having a ball!

I heard once that if you take old 2 litre lemondae bottles, fill them with water and place strategically around the garden cats will stop coming in. Supposedly they see their reflection magnified and think there is a great big scary cat living there!!!!!0

This also drives me mad  I despair that I choose not to have an animal for this reason ...so why is it that is seems perectly acceptable to cat owners that their cats poo everywhere? My friend(cat but no children) fell out with her neighbour (no cat ..but small child) because she could see no problem with it - when I asked if she would feel the same if the neighbour emptied the contents of her baby`s nappy over the fence she could not see the comparison! I know that cats stroll around freely , but I really feel strongly that anyone that chooses to have an animal should have their poo as well ! I find a bucket of water works wonders:oI have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

I use diluted jeyes fluid in a spray bottle and spray this around the top of my fence in the back garden. This seems to keep them out, its also good if you lightly spray the bin bags to keep the little blighters off!!!0

A bucket of water used to work for my parents, but at our house we have a black whippet who just loves to spook cats. When I say spook I mean scare, and when I say scare I mean......... you get the picture.
Needless to say we don't have any of the feline variety in our garden.

I am afraid I have to say we got to the point of lobbing it back over the fence because we got so fed up with it. Its not such a problem now as the cats seem to have been dying off.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -

A hosepipe or a sprinkler that is activated by movement on the garden or a water gun if you can't use them
Creeping up on cats and screaming freaks them out too!
