...and it's back on the market, with the same agent.
OIEO £3k higher than the pre-shenanigans agreement price.
  • With the probate sale and structural problems it wouldn't be surprising if it went to auction (and sold for significantly less). I guess in this case your mum has now mentally moved on and won't want it in any case.
  • Are you tempted to call them, offer 10K above asking, and then do absolutely nothing about it while dragging it on as long as you can?

    Thread update...

After a few weeks of searching, she found another place that ticked most/all of her boxes, and she (finally) exchanged contracts on it today, completion due for the end of next week! It's much more what she actually needs, even if she doesn't really want to admit it...

It's still on the market. After a period of dual-agency, it looks like the vendor has parted ways with that original agency. So this is now agent four...

I do hope nobody's holding their breath on this one actually shifting. I think they might be there for a while yet.

Now, the only remaining question is whether to post a link to it! <grin>

Post a link and a postcode or something that Google will find if a future buyer were to do a bit of searching. ;)
