Didn't get a lot done last weekend as we had to have our cat Bonnie (the actual Bonglecat) put to sleep due to a dislocated and arthritic jaw which meant she couldn't eat or drink. So I spent most of the weekend crying.
But I have really tried to be more efficient in the week, I got all the washing done on Thursday and the shopping Friday evening. I have also been swishing and swiping the kitchen as I load the dishwasher rather than leaving it and doing a mad clean up operation.
Now that my Dad can't talk anymore (he had MND) my Uncle calls me 2 or 3 times a week and stays on for at least an hour if not an hour and a half, I do't really have the time for this. But I have got a headset for my phone and while I listen to him reading out his shopping list, and article in the newspaper I get on with jobs. I think it's important to try to utilise the time more effectively.
I have even managed to make time for my blog, it's called rummagin in Brummegem, it's all about Birmingham. My Debt Free Diary LBM March 2010

Tried out my new toy today - a V@x steam cleaner, courtesy of the @mazon gift vouchers that were originally stolen from my account, and @mazon kindly refunded to me. Suffice it to say the amount of grime I got off the fiddly bits of the bath lift was :eek::eek:
Millie has been fed, so she's a happy pup; Mr LW is sitting here drooling (not literally, thank goodness) at the thought of the veggie toad-in-the-hole that is cooking as I type.
Millie will be going home tomorrow; but Big Jack Spaniel will be here on Friday, so not too many days dogless. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW you provide such a lovely stay for your doggy guests. Well done X

I did the coving and sugar soaped everything else between coughs.
I understand why they don't advise for people to work with their spouses.
Ds2 learnt how to be bored. (He did have some suggestions that weren't to his approval)
Tea cooked (sw chips, sausage and beans)
Ds2 bathed
School bags packed
Off for a 2nd bath for me as someone dropped a dollop of paint in my hair. Back is also killing and DH arm kept going nump. Mustn't grumble though.

Venison sausages out to make sausage and mash for tomorrow night. 2 chicken breasts poached, 2 salmon and 2 tuna steaks baked to do lunches on the move next week. Leg of lamb stripped of everything and slow cooked for stock.
Made it to church. So exhausted I de-cluttered a 2hr snooze this afternoon, and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be up. I want to wait for the dishwasher so I can empty/load and then S&S the kitchen.
Will play a couple of rounds of Zombicide with DH while waiting:o
