Hugs CY good to see you posting, hope your tummy feels up to eating soon xx
Nicki you can order the earrings used in piercing guns off ebeast for just a pound or two - they have surgical steel ones that even my ears can cope with - I wear them all the time as they have a thicker post and prevent mine from closing (they pretty much heal overnight, mine ). They have a glass stone in the middle too - choice of colours.
Well I'm sat here in the LR! Just had lunch, surrounded by toy cars, and the kids have put H0tel tr@nsylvania 2 on <rollseyes>
They are both still shattered and both still getting up in the night - what is going on???
DS spiderman bike has gone :T hopefully to be loved at a new home, freeing up some space in my office, plus 3 tension rods taken to the dance studio. Every little helps
This afternoon I want to make sure my homework is sorted and get it printed out. Kids have done theirs.
Also going to wipe the fridge out, shopping coming tonight.
Some bedroom tidying to be done, and a couple of bits down here to put away. Then dusting and vaccing down here. That'll do for today.
Tomorrow we have swimming then I need to take the kids to my mums - supposed to be meeting friends for lunch, Lord knows where I'll get parked...
Might have a coffee to get myself moving...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
*huff*
I have to feed beasties lunch, they are nagging... meatballs and worms for dinner, because I am lazy!
Pixie is snoozing.
I need a sleep.. and I really wantto start the chicken hat but I have 2 cardigans on the go I must get finished before starting something new.. I've so many projects on the go! I need to make a decent effort to finish some!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
- 2 loads of washing done. Drizzle and murky here so put shirts in TD so I can hopefully catch them warm and hang up to reduce ironing; I don't often use TD.
- 1 basket of dry washing folded and put away.
- Took MIL to A&E as things didn't seem right. Had coffee while Mr N sat with her through reception, waiting room and into triage/doctor. Impressed how thorough they are as they now want blood tests etc then the doc will see her again to decide if she needs x rays or anything else. Mr N said I may as well come home and do work or whatever as it will be a while and no point all of us sitting there.
Now going to try and get some report writing out of the way.
Luckily there was enough of last night's beef stew to liquidise and turn into soup for lunch, whatever time we have it.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Bossy - thanks for that. I'll have to go have a look.
DD left here at 10.30 with ex, got back at 3pm and the entire time she was out (except for 10 mins while I ate lunch) I had my head in work related stuff! I had literally just put my bottom on the chair with a coffee when she got in. I would have preferred to have got some housework done but never mind. We have books to put out now, and with DD helping it should take half the time, then when we get back we can attack the housework. We have to, the place is a mess and I have no intentions of spending all next week playing catch up!!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi all
Have swished, swiped and hoovered upstairs. After a slightly stern word DS2 has gathered up all the laundry, rubbish and pots out of his bedroom.
I might run the hoover round the lr but the kitchen is full of extra furniture so its a waste of time doing anything in there. Sick of this decorating malarkey now.
Narco hope MIL is OK.
Chicken and leek pie in oven. Going to stick some oven chips in, we seem to have eaten very unhealthily this week. Mealplan and shopping list to do!0 -
narco.. any news on MIL?
dinner done
